The PTRS's are fine as they are. Whenever i'm up against Guard Infantry, I always have to be careful with my vehicles or the Guards will completely destroy them. Good range, good damage and fairly cheap; if anything, the PTRS should nerfed since it's ridiculously good for the price. Even in the hands of Conscripts, the PTRS's are extremely potent.

Cherry picking and Spreadsheet warrior can be taken as an attempt at character assassination which is a form of Ad Hom. If that was not your intent I apologize. I also am the one that called you a top player I know you didnt claim that. But it is true. I understand your points. But my beef is at that stage in the game the ability for USF alone to project firepower is limited. When heavy tanks hit the field USF in my experience needs to be ALOT more careful. Which means always uning the Jackson at Max range and almost never giving chase to damaged tanks. Once it gets Vet 1 then yes its ALOT better because it can Pen often. But its hard to get there with OKW Panthers due to the high chance to bounce shots. Which is my issue with the Jackson. The main reason I feel the SU85 is better is because the faction that its in has a really good ability to mitigate alot of its weaknesses. And can have access to Mark Vehicle which good or bad GREATLY impacts AT DPS. For example its not uncommon for a Blitzing Panther to hit a Mine going after an SU85 at which point its MEAT to an SU85. With the USF unless you got crazy with the M20 its alot less likely so the Jackson can only really enjoy its speed to try to escape. But against a Blitzing Panther this is hard to do and with the current state of AT Rnades is hard to stop. I also said I dont hate the Jackson nor think its Garbage. I just dont think its the answer to the USF not having a heavy tank. I think for it to be its damage against heavier tanks needs to be more consistant to discourage a YOLO Panther Blitz rush. I also play Primarily 1v1 not 2v2. I understand with Soviet support the Jackson is probably alot better. But as a stand alone APEX tank I really dont think its enough. Also I feel its stats are always compared to Non Dedicated Tank destoyers and people forget that there are OTHER 60 Range TDs in this game and they can be quite effective. So in my eyes going OMG Jackson SO GOOD NO NEED FOR ANYTHING ELSE is not correct unless the same treatment was given to other factions that posses non doctrinal Purpose build Tank Destroyers that lack any form of AI. The 240 dmg is imo too much. I´m with others here saying that the M36 doesn´t need more offensive power. It can three shot Panzer IVs, totally negates Ostheers T3 and even scares away heavies. The Penetration is the biggest problem. I dont care if the DPS of the unit goes down. As long as its consistant DPS. Its a Tank Destroyer. It has one single job. It can do nothing else and its an Apex unit. It should almost always do SOME damage to tanks. Otherwise how is it going to get to Vet to begin with? There is no damage on deflect after all. Hell even if they added damage on deflect to it... In: COH2 Balance |

None of the stats I posted are cherry picked as you claim. In my comparison post I included the JP4s target size advantage. Also the high damage is not higher due to reload. Again clearly indicated in my previous post. Please illustrate in that post where the stats I posted are incorrect. I do not agree with your opinion. And you can ad hominem all you want. Clearly you didn't read that post and probably don't care to because the most important trait to you seems to be its mobility. Just because Ciez says so top player or not isn't going to change that given the right circumstances an SU85 especially with mark can kill a tank faster than a Jackson. Saying something is best is merely subjective. Ciez thinks with his play style that the Jackson is best because it's mobile. Many other players think it's not because it's fragile. I simply showed that at destroying tanks through a higher penetration and sustained DPS the Jackson is not the best. Again please show me a fact the disputes that. In: COH2 Balance |

Piss off with your quantitative argument!!! My opinion trumps that11!!!! The only thing that trumps it are the only other two non doctrinal tank destroyers when there are only three in the game!!! Just lol at how fail that response was... In: COH2 Balance |

I personally like the Jackson believe it or not. But I like the JP4 and the SU85 as well. Its good against Mediums. And it was OK when WFA released. The biggest problem for the Jackson was the Panther Rebuff. I can handle Tigers with it because it can kite Tigers. The Panther rebuff has returned it to Need for speed with Adamantium Frontal Armor and now the Panther will not pay dearly enough for trying to challenge the USF APEX Tank Killer. This is particularly problematic with OKW because they can field the Panther at around the same time as USF first Sherman assuming equal map control. Also the ironic thing is. For the longest time (if you guys remember) the Apex of the Soviet AT was the SU85. There was nothing better back then. And it was considered by Relic and the larger community as inadequate at dealing with YOU GUESSED IT PANTHERS AND HEAVY TANKS. And here we are again with WFA with the USF in the SAME BOAT the Soviets were in. Sure the Jackson is more mobile and can better survive a Blitzing P4 then an SU85 unsupported by AT nades could but its just as dead to a Panther. In: COH2 Balance |

Read stats. Again not best TD. Most mobile TD yes. Best at destroying tanks? No. Again go read the long post with the Stats. Edit: I have yet to see one post with actual stats backing up the claim that the Jackson is Excellent at destorying tanks. Because one cant exist. When compared to its peers its simply no better or worse then other TDs (SU85/JP4) its just different. Faster Less Pen/HPs/DPS and has a turret. Nothing Amazing there. You dont see people running around saying how Great the SU85 nor the JP4 is.... Being Asymetrically balanced against those units does not make it Excellent especially considering the faction that its in (no easily available mines and unreliable and vet locked Snare) and it being the Anti Tank Apex of said faction. EditAgain: I am sure if the SU85 was in the Meta again people would be making that claim about it however.... In: COH2 Balance |

You are arguing usage and I am arguing stats. Of course no decent US player would WANT to do that. But sometimes things like engine damage happen, sometimes maps require engaging at closer then ideal range. When talking about how a unit is used there are alot of variables. When talking about stats there are not. Clearly for the cost the Jackson is not "Great". Its not HORRIBLE either. But its not enough to balance USF in any hope against heavy tanks for cost and pop cap. If the Jackson was "Great" as in better then say a Pak40 or even as good....then it wouldnt be such a problem. At the moment though against any "Decent" axis player RNG is going to screw over the Jackson more then it will help it. Watch Pwnges video with the Jackson trying to Pen a Panther that was 99% Dead and dying in the process. This is what happens with the Jackson at the moment. If it were "Great" and the only thing the USF should ever need (no heavy tank) or Cheap and Spammable akin to a better performing M10 then yes it would be adequate. Right now its the best you can get as USF but it is not Great. In: COH2 Balance |

I have played OKW exclusivley until the Panther buff. Then I switched. And really...that has 0 to do with stats at all. As you can see by stats alone the Jackson is Mediocre. Its not Great. Not even better then the SU85 that came before it. Its just easier to move around the battlefield. In: COH2 Balance |
