The regular one on the other hand, ye, it needs to be looked at. I dont think any of the AT strafes are well balanced. I have yet to see a US tank survive a single pass from CAS. I suspect the Dozer might. Every other is erased from full health. Not even the P47 is that strong. First pass fucks you up if your a Medium but you can escape. So that just means Faust and Dead Sherman/Jackson/M8 or whatever plus any infantry or support weapons not just tanks. But I am sure thats for another topic. MG42 does need a buff but not a huge one. Its the MG version of the Jackson. Top 50 players think its GREAT or OP. Other 2000 players dont get good use out of it. Rebalance it please. In: COH2 Balance

This enables them to draw out a very strong T2 for a very long time. Early mass LMGs and the occasional S-mine/Teller make all the difference and lets you win the infantry fights that you otherwise lose hard. Dont forget the one button Support team and tank eraser. Makes P47 against Ost look like childsplay In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Remove Shreck from Volks18 Feb 2015, 18:59 PM I didnt see the Jackson do much but some damage and alot of explosions. I did however see the P47 getting all the kills and the Captured Paks doing alot of work. Another funny thing I saw was your SU85 Penetrate a Brummbar frontally while the Jackson just pulled a Jackson on it (Bounce) I watched it pretty slowly and the ONLY tank a Jackson killed that I noticed on its lonesome was a P4 and in turn be destroyed by a Brummbar... Seriously. Watch it again. It goes like this Jackson shoots at big cat gets a Pen for 240 damage. Big cat backs off. P47 called in. Either kills Big cat or gets it down to almost no health. Nowhere in there is the Jackson doing any serious work but making Ost think twice. In fact there was still plenty of Ostheer YOLO unsupported tank pushes all game long. No P47 and that would have been an allied loss for certain. In: COH2 Balance

"Wounded" guys could reveal cloaked units. The "Interrogate" ability for Ostheer units with G43s relies on the existence of crawlers, so I don't think auto-targeting will happen. (stolen) racketenwerfers will automatically target wounded soldiers. That's probably a bug. So will RE Riflenades from an FP. Very annoying when they pick the crawler and not the blob he came from. Thread: P4717 Feb 2015, 21:55 PM I think its OP and so is Stuka. They are dumb. If you are snared it gives 0 fucks about your Tanks HPs. They will die. Just used it on Kholdney and killed a full health Panther all by itself. There was simply nowhere to run... In: COH2 Balance

Jackson is in a really weird place. What you have is basically a tier 4 vehicle in Tier 3(since USF doesnt even have a T4) that hardcounters and bouderline shuts down all T3 armor yet struggle with T4 and Super call in vehicles as USF only real vehicle based counter to them(since mines are hit and miss and AT guns get evaporated by 88s)and even then its hit and miss thanks to amount of RNG buff it anymore and OST T3 namely still gets crapped on yet nerf it and USF lategame gets even more screwed vs heavy armor. I dont really see how this can be fixed without any major game redesigns..... Its quite easy. For people with decent memories. When WFA released the Panther had not recieved its GOD LIKE ARMOR back not blitz. During this period you could actually KILL a Panther with an M10 through skillful play. Because you had a decent chance to Pen. The M10 always did 160 damage Per shot. I would be happy as hell if that same dynamic was applied to the Jackson. Consistant damage at 160 a shot GUARANTEED. That alone would balance it out. No idea why folks want to make it harder than it needs to be. In: COH2 Balance

Allies have a multitude of very viable medium tanks that heavy armor doesn't invalidate. Axis has a ton of more viable Mediums that they dont use because Jackson and IS2. You seem to think Allied Teching is cheap. Its not. The first Sherman costs more than the first Tiger. In: COH2 Balance
