Well I guess you could by throwing your troops at the enemy constantly so you can boost the CP gain with non-stop fighting...but either way you'd probably have enough fuel for an E8 in addition to the Captain if you got an even share of the map by the time you had enough CP. (If that was a joke, I'm afraid I didn't find it very funny) Easy 8 arrives too late and is far to Mediocre at its job. I like the Standard Sherman better. Its job? Kill Infantry and Spot. Does it Well Easy 8? Kill tanks sorta...does it sorta....also sorta kills infantry...sorta... I rush Shermans I wouldnt even want to rush Easy 8s. Thats almost as bad as trying to Rush a Jackson...almost... In: COH2 Balance

All of the vehicle damage was against Panthers. I still lost the match but it was a close one on road to Cutoff vs. rank 400 OKW. Just get it vision with pathfinders, beacons, riflemen flares, recon runs... USF has an insane amount of vision. How the...what the... But the Quick Sherman cannot coexist with the Captain! I really dont get how you can make your Howi actually kill anything. Mine never does. It just dies..and bleed me upkeep... In: COH2 Balance

While it will kill what ever infantry is caught in the barrage zone, the zone is so small it becomes stupid easy to move out of. It's particularly unfair considering the large amount of damage over an area the Katyusha and Stuka can do, as well as the fact the Katyusha can be used for area denial (which is fine), but the Pwerf can't function as an assault rocket artillery HT like the stuka; so it has basically no defined roll. No they changed how explosives work via profiles for them. They changed the Artillery to better SHOW you how distance effects scatter. They didnt change how it worked. It was a UI Improvment only. The Werfer still sucks. As does the Kat in 1v1s at least. But not as bad as the Werfer. I just cant find any good thing about it. I mean would you honestly EVER as a player in the game be in a situation where you were like "OMG he is turtling! I know I must quick tech to Panzerwerfer thats EXACTLY what I need!!!" No you wouldnt. Because A.) Allies shouldnt be turtling because they are BAD at it and B.) Two Panzers IVs would do a better job even if you killed one on a suicide charge then a Werfer ever would when you consider its Tech cost, unit cost, and effectiveness. Its just plain crap. I detect a Myth about terrible US tanks...seeing as yknow they lost just as many as the Brits and thats 20K total not just Shermans I am sure they are a small percentage of those losses. Lets just not bring up how many the Soviets lost... And Germans? Around 40,000 tanks and SPGs destroyed or captured (~2,000 in North Africa, ~4,000 in Western Front and ~34,000 in Eastern Front) In: The Library

Remind me of some SOVIET faction disadvantages 'cause I can't find any... Crap Tech over reliance on commanders. Only being able to afford half your line up. Which leads to the over reliance and predictability. If you see Snipers Expect Guards if you Shocks expect IS2/B4 etc etc. No fortifications. Worst scaling core infantry in game. Lots of side grade costs. Soviets get the LEAST out of teching of any faction including Ostheer. In: COH2 Gameplay

Which was the cleverest way to deal with it IMO. And btw it costs 175 fuel because that's the price you pay for goddamn diamond-tungsten-titanium frontal armour. It had to be made weak against infantry because otherwise it would just be a nightmare to balance. Perhaps it's not in line with Panther's actual impact on the battlefield but balance before realism and all that jazz. No this is the engineering method for the Panther frontal armor.
