This one's an odd bug that I've started noticing after the patch. The Back button used to revert unwanted changes seems to "forget" some things and go over them. Though it's not consistent, so far I've had it do it once with terrain paint, and once with objects.
Here's an example:
Say you want to try something to alter an area, so you rearrange objects A, B, C, and D. But you decide you don't like these changes, so you hit Undo 4 times. For some reason Object B retains its new position, while Object D, C, and A have reverted. |
The Comet however is legit L2P, if anyone has issues with it.
While the Comet is beatable, I do think it's too accessible. It's like if the Panther was in Ost T3 and you just had to do a quick 10 second tech to reach it. I think the Hammer / Anvil should be like a British T4 to encourage people actually using the things in T3. |
I'd make the healing more like the Ostheer Infantry Medical Kit, and make Medics buildable in T0 or T1. |
The flame damage is a bug, not intended. The game checks for 3 specific unit types as it deals flame damage, and deals extra damage if true. The problem is it stacks, and it's not supposed to. So since the British Emplacements are included in the 3 types it checks, it deals 3x the damage. Ostheer Emplacements count as 2 or the 3 types and get 2x stack. OKW Command Trucks only count as 1 type and thus only take the intended damage.
It's not a balance issue, and it'll hopefully be fixed soon. |
Reduce the cost of Infantry Sections to 245 - 260, but nerf their ridiculous Veterancy as compensation. Also allow Medics to be build-able from HQ or T1, and rework the IS Medkits to work more like Ostheer Infantry Vet 1 ability. Also make the Artillery Flare Free to use, it has enough downsides with poor ease-of-use, response time, and accuracy.
Furthermore, make Hammer / Anvil more like a T4 than T3 Upgrade. Currently few people actually build the Cromwell, it's more rewarding to just go Hammer and spam Comets, or Anvil and get Command Churchill + Firefly.
The goal of this is to make Infantry Sections actually useful as Infantry at all points of the game, rather than being forced to rely on 4-man Volks that slowly transform into Obers. The changes to Infantry Section upgrades are and addition of Medical Teams are meant to increase the diversity of Infantry Sections, rather than only using the Healing Upgrade. The alterations to T3 are to encourage use of actual T3 units rather than spam and cheese tactics like Comet rushes. Comets and Churchills are very potent units, so their place as a "bonus tier" is fitting a-la Ostheer T4. |
IS-2 isint really more durable because of stronger ostheer AT guns. The time it takes for a zis-3 to kill a tiger is exactly the same as a pak-40 takes time to kill an is-2.

Aaaaand sherman is weak again
Agree, they should do the opposite. Remove the buffed Pen and re-add the +20 Armour. That extra armour is the difference between Panzerschrecks having a 100% penetration chance on every hit, or an 88% chance at range. They need the durability more than the penetration, they have the Jackson for that. |

I think the IS-2's main gun should be a sledgehammer of a weapon, with high accuracy (against tanks) to off-set the longer reload time. Similar to the King Tiger in a way.
Speaking of the King Tiger, I think it could use a durability nerf in exchange for a bit of extra range. |

Reverted Armor buff to Sherman from 180 back to 160
I liked the Sherman's armor upgrade, I just didn't like the pen upgrade so much. Made no sense for a low velocity 75mm to be better than a high velocity 75mm. |
