I disagree. Jacksons can hold any Ostheer armour at bay, so can double AT-Guns. Tbh I think the USF AT-Gun is very underestimated and underused (giving it an actula hold fire ability would make it even stronger). I find the absence of a decent mine why more limiting.

They should drastically increase the time it takes to switch between AP and HE. 11s is almost no nerf, as predicted it is used with HE to wipe squads left and right, and in case a tank shows up it quickly switches ammo. |
I understand your point very well, but just one or 2 viable tactics is a bit on the short side don't you think? I mean they surely only thought of the OKW faction facing the US faction when creating it. Soviets stand slight chances of winning if they do not use one of either 2 tactics that are "viable".
2 viable tactics vs one specific build order is not the same as 2 viable tactics in general. With soviets you can go for double snipers + guards, maxim spam, con spam, engie spam, and that probably isn't even the end of the list. |

Take for instance 2v2 mode:what is more powerfull on Allied side, double USF, USF plus Soviet, or double Soviet. I would bet all my money on double soviet without a thought.
That is also caused by soviet design. Designed for 1v1 where you start with T1 or T2, in everything beyond 1v1 you can have both (e.g. player 1 goes for T1, player 2 goes for T2) for a massive early game advantage. That is why double soviet on 2v2 is better than mixed or double US (double US early game is exactly the same as in 1v1 contrary to double sov) |
Wait a minute. So I've always thought the problem was the fact that it had superior AT and AI.
Apparently the major problem people have with it is not the AT, since people seem 'open' to the idea of replacing it with a dedicated TD, but the AI.
I'm a getting warm here? I mean its TD capabilities are not that great atm, for the price if using it as dedicated AT you are better of with SU-85s so I gather from that and posts here and other places that the HE shells is really what gets people going.
Haha you obviously don't seem to understand what people are saying... The problem is that it has super AT and AI: its AI is good enough to wipe infantry from 70 range but still hardcounter every tank except Ele/JT.
What would you say if the Ele/JT had similar AI capabilities? JT already is more expensive and less mobile, and Ele cost roughly the same but |
