Everyone cried for this during beta, giving exhaustive reasons and presentations on why the CoH2 UI was rubbish.
If you make it a DLC, you are in effect paying Relic extra for making a shitty solution in the first place and grubbing in money later. It's simply too dirty. |
Yes, Ostheer are hilariously OP, even if most of the posters here will deny that, probably because of severe bias.
The fact is that unless you play significantly better as soviet than your opponent, the OH will always win and the main reason for that is that you cannot trade efficiently 1:1 against the Ostheer.

I tried engaging Cata with a few questions, he seems to think Soviets are the strongest. He uses M3s to massively out-micro his opponents, but also thinks that the Maxim can do the stuff.
I am pretty sure he thinks differently than you or I, though; if it wins games, spam the cheese. If you don't do cheesy strats (I think M3s are ridiculous and breaks the "immersion" or whatever, but then again, I'm super casual), OH just might be stronger while everyone rages over the imba Soviets. |

I think it was just a bug that only took effect before the new "did you have fun?" popups after some fights. It fits with the popup in question having boxes under it.
I think we won't see it again, let's give it some time. |

Using a 150+ muni ability to destroy a 600mp (not sure of the cost) arti seems pretty fair to me.

Would you honestly ever spend 600MP to build something which will be instantly, utterly destroyed as soon as an opponent laid eyes on it, be it via scoutplane or long-sight units such as Elephant or SU85?
Would you ever NOT spend those munitions to destroy it, if the roles were reversed??

As long as Pgrens are so fragile I do see no need for a shreck nerf.
You're not much of a reader, are you? It's not a nerf, it's a change. Either they should do more damage, lessen the price of PGs or shreks etc. This isn't a balance discussion, it's a suggestions for making the game more fun.

So, I'm just wondering if other people have the same experience as I do and the same hopes. List your hopes for gameplay changes here, perhaps Relic will give it a look. Maybe there are some things which we are forgetting in our Ele/ISU-rage
For all intents and purposes, assume that any change suggested will follow with a strength/price-change to keep it balanced. Don't start a balance-discussion!
- Lower range of Elephant and ISU (shuks!).
- Don't let one-click abilities destroy artillery guns (right now they are unusable if your opponent picks the wrong/right doctrine, and therefore aren't used).
- Lower the range of Shreks so there's a bit more micro involved (right now, T34s/T70s cannot kite them, you simply exchange volleys. A bit boring).
- Mines/lucky-'nade shouldn't kill entire squads on their own.
