People who abuse the most OP units are playing to win, not to have fun. Giving them what they want won't make any difference. In fact, they might even use it more because they get even easier wins. |
The crew could just transfer the experience points to their new vehicle. There is no need for difficult formulas or 3 types of crews.
Experience point =/= veterancy level. A vet 3 scout car crew probably won't even make a tiger Vet 1.
I think it would be a nice feature, though I would also be content with crew members crawling out of their tanks injured and dying when the tank gets abandoned. It's a bit silly that they yell 'OUT OUT!' yet nobody leaves the tank. |

The soviet mortar is probably the worst piece of equipment in the game. Building a soviet mortar is like picking up a dropped PTRS with a panzergrenadier squad: it's a waste. The only way to make the 82mm mortar decent is by sticking it next to a foreward HQ.
On other soviet support weapons:
-120mm is good.
-Zis3 is good in my opinion, it's not really an AT gun but more of a field gun with some cool abilities.
-45mm AT gun could use a higher close-mid range penetration with a steep drop off. This way it could be of minor use later on in the game as a flanking AT gun that you need to use aggressively.
-Maxim is too good when spammed, but just right when used in combined arms.
-DHSK.. haven't seen much use of this unit. Can't really say anything about it.

Dear developers, please give us more map vetoes. The current 1v1 map pool is filled with terribly imbalanced maps and 3 vetoes just isn't enough for an enjoyable gaming experience. For instance, when I play as the Germans, 1 vote automatically goes to Stalingrad (did you even play test this map?). This leaves me with only 2 more vetoes. How am I going to avoid auto-losses with just 2 vetoes when only about 3 out of 10 1v1 maps are properly balanced? |
