It is done using the SCAR scripting.
As for specifics, and don't know off the top of my head, I don't do it. There are some articles on this forum discussing it, a search should come up with it.
Keep in mind, it could be frowned up, to use this, to grant access to abilities that are paid for, when a player hasn't paid for them. Somewhere it was stated, that if this was abused, it could be locked out. |

Place SPLAT's on top of the snow layer to give detail. They are much better than the textures you paint. There is an "on snow" check box, which also works for the mud layer in spring/summer maps. |
I didn't think it would work.
I've requested LOS and Shot only blockers before, but never got a response.
FYI, there are several instances where the current Impass/Shot/LOS blockers don't actually do anything. My Rock Quarry map has them at some key elevation change area's, and when troops are spotted up top, the troops below just shoot right through them. It shows the fog of war blocking, but troops also just appear in the fog anyway most of the times.
In my case, I am probably stretching their design limits, but either way, it seems they are very restricted on the scope of what they can, and cannot do.
World Builder is VERY limited at what it is capable of. I am still waiting to be able to drive across a bridge, and go underneath it at the same time, without the tunnel script. That alone, would change the possible design of maps 10 fold. |

Original COH world builder had Shot Blocker only objects, but they aren't in COH2 world builder. I found it very unfortunate because of the size of the shot blockers create a lot of impass.
One thing I never tried was making the blocker a VIS object only, that would kill the impass, but I'm not sure if it would keep the LOS and Shot Block. |
Just wait till you find out you made half a map doing that, and only after testing the map, you see the AI shooting at tree's....wtf? Ohh, those trees belong to team 4 apparently. And half the map is the wrong team! |
I assume you are unable to select it? If that is the case, just select everything on the map, make a stamp. Start a new map, and place the stamp into the few file. Then the marker should be missing if you did it right. Then you can re add it, and move it where needed. |
