If you increase MG34 damage you have to reduce sturm ones. because everyone will always have access to mg34 every doctrine..oh wait... This doesn't work at all. Thread: CAS commander in team games18 Aug 2015, 09:13 AM I personally don't see this commander used much anymore. I used it about 10-12 time pre patch. It was no game changer except on helping to break soviet def liens backed by su-5s, katys and b4's. The at strafe helped make the su 85's move, killed the katys, and the stuka bomb shut down the b4's. CAS is a great support commander but its not a I win commander. Even with CAs I've seen games where teams were unable to counter a b4 plus priest arty combo protected by a def line. If Axis goes late game evenly with Allies and they go heavy arty Axis will lose the Arty battle if no Stuka bombs...is that I-win? No. AI strafe insta pins whole army...why is whole army able that close to get pinned. At strafe hard counters all but heavy armor. Other than catching a katy mid fire, or pathing screwing you. you can dodge At strafe especially this patch. As for killing a crippled ISu..same concept of calling an arty strike on a crippled KT (that one that hits really hard with about 4-5 shells) Finally if we're going to make CAS planes cost MP. ALL planes for each side needs to cost MP since they CAN ALL be shot down. (minus the para plane for USF) This Doc isn't even an issue this patch. In: COH2 Balance

The canon books tell you a much better story of the things that the movies could not show (i.e in ep 3 palpatines movements are actually faster than the normal human eye can see during that saber duel with Mace and the other jedi. another i.e dark force users have used the mind trick before. Just as even a jedi can use the lighting but majority don't cause it is an emotional channel. The storm troopers in the opening of ep iv had the number disadvantage at first before mowing down the rebels (who were fortified before the breach mind you) they did have more numbers total but that number was not present in the initial breach. A lot of imperial tech also trumped rebel tech without the force/return of jedi the alliance would have failed (even though they eventually do fail if you read the books, not as the alliance but the new republic.) If you want to go off the movies alone they do a very poor representation of many aspects. Also you can not discount hero armor man thats movie 101. On topic @ Esxile that logic about axis is what creates many issues on the forums. As i said in my earlier post and I know im not alone, I've played mostly axis since coh 1 through ALL patches. People like what people like. Axis has an appeal. To each his own but to assume that most of the axis player base is in it for easy then there should have been a point where at least once the allied had that percentage and axis was low because the easy win ppl would have all switched over. Axis has been the majority percentage (on searching) since release.Axis needs tweaks but can we stop this "percent high only because axis is super easy". By that same logic most of the allied fan base must be masochist. In: COH2 Balance

White fucking armor which looks like made of plastic is not cool. Most propably economically collapsed and ruined by uprisings empire (I'm basing only on movies) is not cool. And why would you kill someone with suffocation or some lasers when you can just tell him 'ur a fukken looser and a fagget, go kill urself' and he'll do it. Light side rules obviously this guy doesn't know the power of the dark side (Ds can do that mind thing too btw). Also even in the movies the Storm troopers >rebels. Only when the hero showed up on screen did they do any real damage. back on topic.. here's my answer to all these percentage threads. People play what they want to play. Axis is more popular, for various reasons. For me being a military person and a history buff I like the axis war machine. There stuff is cooler. I palyed them in coh 1 and in COH 2 when they were UP, OP, and balanced. I even stuck to axis during the kangaroo days..which I hope never visit coh 2. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: BLITZ BUG25 Jun 2015, 04:42 AM The amount of silliness posted on this topic in both this forum and the official forum makes me cringe. Some of the very same people that wage forum war hard about balance and fixing broken stuff only have a simple "ha ha" response to this. Using blitz in ANY capacity at the moment doesn't work. Want to speed up your panther to get that last shot on that su85 or insert armor here too bad doesn't work. From all the complaints that the only intended role people wanted it to serve and it can't do that. Next we'll have capture territory actually un cap points with this craziness. In: COH2 Bugs
Thread: Ostheer Dedicated "TD" need 60 Range as Others25 Jun 2015, 04:37 AM After playing around with the new stug I will say we are fine on TD's. I had 2 stugs (vet 3) 1 panther, and 1 ostwind. Enemy armor was shut down. I didn't have a pak because my partner had that covered. In: COH2 Balance
