The Wehr HT also takes decent damage from the Russian scout car's main weapon. I drove a flame HT through two Scout cars with flamers inside and the combined damage took me down to half health in about 5 seconds.
This won't happen because it would require redoing the model, but I think flame HT would be great if it worked exactly the same way except it only had one flamethrower. |
2 cons 2 engie with two(!!) OPs would get absolutely shut down to anything other than a 3 unit t1, he should have lost in the first 10 minutes but you went fast t2 and kept him in the game.

I actually think Pripyat has some good ideas and could be made decent. You'd have to:
make the river crossings either creek-sized or remove them
make the central area and its approaches more open (no bridges)
remove the forest just on either shore of the river south of the middle VP (so that there is a beach sort of bit you can use to travel north/south)
make the destroyable bridge that starts destroyed be built at the start.
make the other destroyable bridge wider and invincible |

I didn't check the resource income to verify whether they were cut off or not, but in a replay I watched someone cutoff a chunk of territory that had an blitz truck in one of 3 disconnected territories, and they didn't flash the way they ought to have for being disconnected. |
I just can't believe the amount of bullshit abilities/upgrades the Russians have compared to sweet fuck all the Germans have.
Button, heroic charge, hit the dirt, T34 Ram, molotov and AT nades, PPSH upgrade, satchel charges, the list goes on.
Relic give the German infantry some love please.

Flame HT are not fun to play against, but stealing one and getting it to vet 3 is. Lots of vetted inf, tons of panthers, t34 rammin action, and watch my partner lose 4 snipers like a boss.
I feel bad posting this after seeing someone already posted another win vs these guys, but they were the only decent opponents Twister and I have faced this patch, so here we are. |
Disagree, it's just like in CoH 1: if you over invest in indirect fire you are going to lose to main-line combat troops. Undecided on the rus atgun barrage. |
