And here I thought relic's WFAs were just gonna be a side note. If you want to make an entirely new game, don't call it an expansion, just price it at 60$,and sell the WFA SP and MP together.

I like the mechanics the WFA brought and I hope they are implemented to vanilla factions. One example is the direct/indirect fire mechanic that the Scott and LeIG have, it would be cool to see the Su-76 have that. Also, adding OKW abilities/units to new Ostheer commanders would further show the concurrent involvement of units on both fronts (my fantasy is to have an Ostheer KT..but whatever).Finally, the original mechanics like vehicle crew repair for soviets would be more useful/more awesome if it was replaced by allowing the crew to exit and repair (I'd like it for all factions, not just USF, but I get that its unique and could offer balance problems). Modifying existing commanders is probably a good idea as well to make useless ones useable. |
I find that PaK 40 placed well on its flanks work, but your are much higher ranked than me. |
Soviet Industry is already the allied war machine (see: spam) commander. |
Love this commander, though I find it works best on Minsk pocket. haven't lost one battle on Minsk Pocket using it. |
Well, to be fair I made last minute changes, but even so, these were done before they added the maps to the beta. There must be some sort of delay between the workshop and where they're pulling the maps from... I don't know.
Either way, this is good feedback and I will make sure these points are taken care of.
Any other suggestions/concerns/bugs?

Soviets do get mass tank spam. try using regular T34s or something called SOVIET INDUSTRY |
I believe at one time the Maxim had higher damage but lower suppression, while MG42 had high suppression and low damage...to me that seems like at least the beginning of a solution,while the MG34 and .50 cal could be the same, Germans get more suppression because they deal with more infantry/blobs, while Allies get more damage. |
Kinda odd OKW got 5 vet and not Ost considering the Germans had been fighting for like 5 years in the East before D-Day |
Let me know if anyone else has experienced this since the patch.
I've only played one game since the patch but I noticed a couple of times when retreating maxiums and mortars that if they were under heavy fire they would stop retreating .. the little exclamation point over them disappeared and they stopped in the direction they were running just standing there for the slaughter.
Ive only played like one game too, but I have noticed some retreat bugs. |
