I am amazed how many people care about bulletins, skins, faceplates.
Commanders should be purchasable if they have unique units/abilities.
If they are just combination of other commanders abilities, I don't mind them being solely a war spoil item.
There are way to many commanders anyway, and I personally haven't played with 80% of the ones I have |
Hello everyone,
Just a little idea from my part. Wouldn't it be a better solution to receive 3 diffrent warspoils after the game but you can choose only one of those for example? It won't take much of coding skillz to do it and it triples the chance of receiving something useful.
No. Because that would make sense and that's not the way Relic rolls.
You need to adjust and learn to receive the spoils of war better. |
If you actually go high on the 2v2 random leaderboards, you will face top teams all the time. Small playerbase yay, but at least these games tend to be interesting/learning experiences.
I guess I should add that I play when there is the least players online (Australia) so I almost never get good random game.
There always seem to be 1 or 2 players that are 'the fish out of the water' in the game, my team or opposing, it still ruins the game. |
(I think the option to search random would be nice in another way)
There is nothing 'nice' it should be in because it's essential feature, it baffles me why random search wasn't there on release of COH2, let alone after a year.
Ok so it doesn't baffle me that much, I got used to Relic finding crucial parts of multiplayer game unimportant
Simple check faction/s you want to play with, same as its done with 1v1, 2v2, etc game modes option Thats easiest and simplest option, can't be that many people who would get confused with little check box option.
|
Thats just how 2v2 Random is, 9/10 times you will get shit game (unless you don't count easy victory vs noob team as good game) |
Incredible.
Relic is listening to community because the community went 'up in the arms' over how VCOH2 was designed etc.
And sorry to say, even tho you attempt to portray yourself as some sort of hero in the video, how WFA or COH2 turnded out to be is not thanx to you, at all.
Its thanks to people who were "toxic community" as you liked to call them. The people who criticized the way how COH2 has no strategic depth; voiced they concerns at obvious buffing up of DLC commanders on release that were constantly breaking balance; ' gave hard time to Noun and developers to change pretty much the entire way the COH2 plays and feels.
If you go through the threads you will find that game resembles what, for example Inverse and others were toxic about, (in my eyes that was conctructive criticism, tho I may not have agreed with everybody and everything that was said and suggested)
'turning point' was period when certain casters left, and Nouns 'toxic letter' got community really 'toxic' Not when you rage quit game and told Relic how they need to change
During each of these crucial moment is COH2's metamorphosis you were staunch defender of Relic and the way COH2 was. (if I remember correctly, and I think I do)
I don't understand how you can be so cynical to try and take credit now.
If you wanna be respected, maybe have a look at Ami, like someone already mentioned, he is very enthusiastic but isn't afraid to voice his displeasure when things aren't going well.
Thats my opinion anyway, good luck with your youtube channel. Please don't be full monty fanboy, critique is good when its necessary

One last thing (really).
Everybody in this Forum is preaching about competitiveness and balance and e-sport, and this is OK.
If we have different commanders, where is the Balance to that?
And think, if everybody has all off them then none of them could be excluded in tournys!
It would be a fair fight for everyone!
That's it i am done (i think ).
Its only a problem if 'spoils of war' commanders are OP and give advantage (same goes for DLC)
If they are balanced with default commanders, then it has no effect on balance and your ability to win games whether you have all commanders or not.
Personally I only use 1-2 default commanders from both VCOH2 armies, and I don't feel disadvantaged (other when DLC commanders were turbo charge OP'd for marketing purposes) |
I play the game but not as often like others so a have a disadvantage over them, right?
Life is unfair, get used to it |
And you base your assumption on what exactly?
Because absolutely nothing in your link even remotely points at what you say.
I think he's got a pretty good clue on whats going on |
CPM is best indicator of nothing in this game. I've watched casters do click fest spam, with no reason or benefit to it. Just so they would have high CPM at the end of the match.
(this of course doesn't mean that attention and moving units at the right time isn't crucial. It just means that moving unit from A to B can be done as effectively in 1 click as it is in 24 clicks)
You know who you are |
