"These three enormous flak towers guarded a German Marine base near Angers, France. Each tower would have been armed with several large caliber and small caliber anti-aircraft guns. They were destroyed by Allied air attacks as General Patton’s 3rd Army advanced East."

Hi,
I play all modes. As far as wins go I'm sort of 50/50 in 1 v 1 and 60/40 in 3 v 3 and 4 v 4.
But I suck donkey balls at 2 v 2 and always have. Doesn't matter what faction I play.
Can anybody give me any tips as how to get started and better my game. Enemy synergies seem to fox me - for example on Semoiski (since when was that a decent 2 v2 ?) I just got pwnd by a T70 rush.
This doesn't seem to fuck me up on other games ... 2 v 2 is a special mystery to me. Can anyone help?
get a decent mate who can carry you sometimes and you can carry him the other times. play a few games with him and then you'll probably beat almost all other players with random teammate.
then once in a while you'll face off against other premade teams and that is when it gets fun. |
"bunkers make soviet comebacks impossible" LOL !!
yea I exaggerated... sorry but when there is a standoff in 2v2+, bunkers definitely give germans edge. |
I also notice that now there is number 2 is above unmanned weapons. I thought this was a great idea, especially for germans but when i went to pick it up, it took 3 men....
i also dont get why mortars need minimum 2 men. |
Why do relic keep giving Ost munition heavy doctrines and abilities? 30 munitions for an anti-inf upgrade for conscripts but for grens it's 60 munitions. The problem with the IL2 wasn't just it's damage, it was the fact that soviets can amass that much munitions in the first place.
there's fuel to muni ability...
also having a lot of muni options doesnt translate to muni-starved... |
Mortars and flamethrowers take forever to kill bunkers unfortunately.
+1
just another thing that makes soviet comeback impossible |
I LOVE IT MAN. COHBROS ALL THE WAY |
Much of the cry about the tiger ace, from the sov's player's, is because is a big tank that not have killed by the artillery all the time...
Because a lot of player's make that, spam artillery with infantry with poor strategy (only spam), to kill the weak's tank's easy, and make control of the map spamming units and deny resources!
Artillery + Maxim + Cons spam's, call the tiger ace to kill this...
One guy right now i win making kill death ratio of 149/63 and cry by the tiger ace in late game, they spam 6 artillery in the game, with maxim's and con's running all the map...
They kill 63 and die 150... Is not the tiger ace that made this...
Some players want kill easy and fast spamming artillery and cons or maxim's, that it, and work's... Not for the tiger!
now i think you know that this kind of generalisation is bullshit. i think most people cry about this unit is because when you have a real tight game as a soviet and try to muster some forces to push the tide, in many cases german players whip out this little tiger with cool ass skin and wins the game unfairly. |
How are conscripts not in your build order? You can still build them later in the game if you don't get them early.
he means the at nade upgrade at hq...
molotov and at nade upgrade costs are pretty hefty |
The factions in this game were designed in this way.
Soviet rely on very potent call in units while Germans have solid base of core units while their call ins are more utility based. You don't need fancy off map units because what you can build from your base is more than enough to do the job! Every Soviet call in can be countered by them. Maybe it won't be a hard counter but it wouldn't be trying to take out a tank with a stick.
Seriously I have been playing nothing but Germans since the recent patch and the amount of bias you get these days is just enormous. Why don't you guys just stop play 3v3 all the time and try to play 1v1 instead and get some skill?
When I read statements like: "Tigers are worthless", "No point of getting a Panther, they're useless", "Brummbar is crap" it just buggers my mind.
Recent Shock cry when you only need a correctly used MG42 to control them and deny their presence is a great example. I mean it was hard to adapt at the beginning but after a while it turns out it's possible and I can see more and more people on this forum saying they don't have problems with Shocks anymore. Maybe it's not the game but something you do?
And in the end if you really can't beat anyone and everything else failed then just use the bloody Tiger Ace or Soviet Industry and just exploit them (this is a rubbish advice, I know, please don't do it).

I think the great amount of call-ins soviet has can be both seen as a bliss or a burden. |
