you know whats even worse than a leaver? somebody that refuses to leave and then destroys your base with at guns because he doesn't like the way the match played out
Imagine there is a cold mode mod for COH2. You have limited vision for all infantry units (flares become extremely useful). You can make campfires to heat up your infantry. All vehicles have lights so they have normal or even extended line of sight. Vehicles have new crit - lights damaged (reduces LOS). You have a global upgrade for all inf - so squads dont freeze to death.
I dont know if it will be more fun to play, but it probably will be more fun to watch)
The description of the Fortified Armor doctrine for Wehrmacht has a number of errors in it:
Enhance the survivability of your tanks and vehicles; defensive smoke, the ability to go hull-down, and a Panzer IV Command Tank ensure your vehicles can live longer and fight harder, while Spotting Scopes and aerial recon allow you to see threats and engage them at long range wiith the Elefant Heavy Tank Destroyer. it
Thats a nice build order you got there.....would be a shame if it would come across a rifle blob with double bars. On a serious note; this build order does not work against experienced players. it has not AI capability and reinforcing 3x pzgr will leave you with no manpower.
I'd like to suggest replacing the observation bunker with USF raid tactics. This ability gives +7 sight to infantry and allows light vehicles to cap at a rate of 3 with a duration of 45 seconds.
Reasons:
- Like USF, Ostheer puts emphasis on light vehicle play, this ability fits that.
- It can fill the role of the recon ability for this commander. Pioneers would have 52 sight, for example.
- Raid Tactics currently doesn't see much use. This is because pathfinders already provide 55 sight and USF can let their light vehicle crews cap.
- The observation bunker doesn't seem worth it in its current state and doesn't fit the theme of the commander in my opinion. I would expect a strategic reserves commander with assault grenadiers and improved tanks to be focused on mobility.
I like this suggestion more than the observation bunker. It fits the commander more and it encourages light vehicle play.
