And here I thought the KV2 was a joke of a tank in 1vs1, a bit better than the ISU152 (the number one call-in for throwing games) that it resembles, but still basically just a bait for a single panther or even PZIV to take out especially with the MP income of industry that severely limits any support the thing is going to have. It beats a T34/85 one on one. So yes it's actually pretty damn powerful. When properly ground target-microed it will very reliably kill 4-5 guys with every shot as well, or just oneshot any squad that is clumped up, much like the IS2 that many german-only players like to complain about except that it's not doctrinal and is more accurate against infantry but without a turret. Tbh brummbär is a better choice than panther when you're T4 unless you're facing su85s or IS2s or KV-series tanks. Against anything else the brummbär does nearly as well AT wise while also annihilating infantry. I think KV8 should get a price increase (like +100mp/+10fuel). It really is too cheap for the current performance. Survivability shouldn't be touched because soviets are severely lacking in any kind of actually tanky vehicles as it is. In: COH2 Balance |

I'm going to assume you mean you could trigger the ability wherever and the crew could then move around and still fire off a clip off the stuff. This would be so freaking op I can't really even imagine what it would be like, clearly the ability would have to be nerfed to do next to nothing if you could trigger it beforehand with no drawback except the extremely minor munition cost. It's an insanely powerful ability with a good drawback as it is, I don't see why it needs to be changed. The timer is long enough and the cost low enough to trigger it pre-emptively as it is now. I recommend you do that instead of asking for it to be completely reworked. In: COH2 Gameplay |

You do realize osttruppen have the exact same faust as grenadiers? To be honest the only axis infantry more dangerous to soviet vehicles than osttruppen is PGrens with shreks, as the extra 2 men make it harder to wipe them and the super cheap reinforce lets the german player play riskier with them to get fausts off. What is with the new push to make soviet molotovs hard to get when the germans get their alternative for FREE. Trying to suggest such a one sided nerf for the sake of "stategy" is one of the most biased things i've heard o the board. If thatt was the case, maybe it's time for the germans to start needing to purchase a faust upgrade as well. It's not new, HS King has been crying about the same things for months and his agenda has always been to nerf more or less everything for soviets while buffing most things for germans. I don't use them that much now because I like to win, something which is pretty much impossible if I try to make penals against a player of roughly equal skill in the current patch. It was better last patch and I had some success with them, but even then I considered them a novelty unit. Fun to have and people don't expect them but ultimately they don't offer anything over more conventional choices like scripts, guards or shocks except for more freedom with doctrine choices.
So you are playing against players who will actually send in their first assgren completely alone at you? No matter what you were building you'd win against that easy, and there is absolutely zero reason for the german player to not wait until he has two assgrens before pushing. Even in this completely ridiculous scenario the second assgren would push your penals off your cutoff. Remember that the second assgren will be out before you even finish building T1.
