Lately been wondering why I'd even want a Tiger as Ostheer in 1vs1. Smoked PIVs have the same anti-infantry power for a far lower cost, and the mobility to quickly switch sides to exploit the lack of mobility the ISU brings.

The command tank buff is nice, but the vehicle itself is clearly worse than the normal PIV against all targets since the big PIV gun buff (no pintle, bad penetration, not particularly good even against infantry as the gun is much worse than on the stug e) so I tend to feel it's not worth going for a commander with the command tank.

Personally I'm dying for a vehicle smoke+officer commander. That would work so well, but alas, it's either officer or smoke and with those two choices I'll always pick the smoke.

This guy is weird, he kept focused vision on his ISU the whole time even when it had damaged engine and was being attacked???

With regard to the P4, it's good against infantry and its medium population makes it easy to spam, but I think its main problem is penetration. At 120 max that is pretty low.

These Ostheer replays are great, it's so rare to see good replays of these now, upload more of these

ISUs are one of the hardest match ups for me, and it's either tiger spam or P4 spam against ISU. When heavies are tied to tech, 3 P4s would definitely look like a much better choice.

It's hard to get enough population to have 3 P4s + panther, or even 3 P4s + tiger ace.

Here's a thought: command panzer could help reduce tank dmg and inf getting wiped if you're just defending until u get a panther (with several P4s to fill the early gaps and do AI & soak up mines and dmg in a flank).
