Yolotiger is BS that should not be in the game, then again so is soviet sniper. So if there is a single instance where the yolotiger is justified, it`s versus sniper abuse. Fighting fire with fire, abuse with abuse. Not a gg, but wp. |
i think im close to giving up on this forum, this forum is more pro german than pro balance.
I'm with you on this. I read these forum sections less and less for that reason.
It's one constant cry for nerf of the soviet units allthough german players are in majority most of the time in automatching.

Agreed, the ability is unresponsive, targets ground and shoots with a big delay. So not a great investment for 180 muni.
203mm could generally use some love. Unless it gets vet 1 it`s rather bad and it is pretty hard and luck-based to get the vet because of the single shell shot (when compared to 152mm that has a lot higher chance to actually hit anything). |

That said I think its totally fairplay for the Germans to use this commander at the moment (and yes, I use it all the time myself). The Soviets have so much stuff in this patch that is just ridiculously op that Elite Troops doesn't even feel that strong when u play it.

Could the troop training ability only give one star per use, currently many units achieve two stars per use.

I definitely think this ability should be changed. What I had in mind was the limitation of 1 use per unit, because I really hate the style of gameplay of camping and boosting Panzers/Panthers to vet 3 (especially in team games) that is currently encouraged. |
For people worried about realism: there is none already. This game is about as unrealistic as possible. And I am not talking just about little things like sniper flare in a blizzard, ramming the back of the tank to destroy the gun or magically appearing LMGs etc. but even the very core of the game. Just look at 2 squads shooting at each other from a distance of few feet (even without cover) for as long as it takes for the RNG to roll a hit to kill someone... most of them should be dead on the ground almost immediately in such a scenario (for example Men of War games are a lot more accurate in this area). I mean at this point you can add flying tanks, sorcerers or mechagodzilla in the game, it doesn`t matter.
As for the gameplay - I fully share OP`s concerns. I own the Tiger Ace commander, it`s complete BS and should be changed/removed from the game. Adding even more similar **** is a slap in the face of the people who like this game. |

If you are talking about 2v2, why can`t your partner supply AT guns while you are waiting for your SU-85? That would be you going tier 1 + guards and your partner tier 2 (+ shocks), you know, the usual...
Also consider whether you really need the molotovs since you will soon have a lot of killing power with the double snipers. Maybe try not getting the molly upgrade once or twice and see what happens, it`s 125 MP and 25 Fuel that can be spent elsewhere, for example on faster tech. |
