Sorry double post. |
As a multiplayer only I can leave without the commander system or the pay to win as some people call, but I can't play this new game with a different pace or different mechanics from coh2, it's supposed to be a continuation not a brand new game, I don't care about the single player campaign, so it can have a different pace, but not in MP, I also expect a better unit definition, for some reason they are messed with the environment, I really don't need my units so camouflaged that I miss they in the map. |
Had no problems shift queuing capture points in COH3 on the minimap
I noticed it in the Single player Demo, if they fixed it was good, they can't completely broke with coh2 mechanics, if I bought the coh3 I need to not learn how to play a completely new game |
I believe CoH3 will be an improvement on almost every aspect of CoH2 - for the majority of players. Granted, not sure if 2-3 months after release though.
If I had to, my guess would be within a year CoH3 will be the most played of the franchise, followed by CoH1
Maybe, there are new players who grew up playing Mobil games and Coh1 widows who are happy with the similarity between coh and coh3, but personally, and from what I'm seeing on YouTube and other sources, coh2 players are not pleased with the coh3.
I don't like the mechanics of the new game at all, and I'm not just talking about the graphics it's to far from coh2 but confess that I actually expected a continuity and not something almost completely new, but it could be my fault. |
I really don't see the slightest reason to replace coh2 for coh3, this game was made with the widows of Coh1 in mind, there is nothing in the mechanics or the visual part that is an improved experience for anyone who likes coh2, absolutely nothing. You can bet, within two or three months after coh3 comes out, there will be more players online playing coh2 than coh3. |
I watched for like 2 seconds and saw this:
I think there are units on the point somewhere
Exactly, this game engine is very bad,I don't understand whats happened, there's nothing in COH3 that represents a visual improvement over the previous ganes, even in gameplay aspects they aimed the Coh1 fans and nothing is there for Coh2 players, it's really scary, because the essence of the is already there, and I really don't fell hooked by it, I don't believe in drastic change, and I won't replace coh2 for this thing. |
Someone living under a rock?
Mea Culpa, I didn't pay attention to the beta version online, I saw the ad several days while playing coh2, when I tried it it was too late, but as I said before, the previous beta version didn't please me at all. There is something about the game's new engine that is out of context, ugly and seems made to another type of game, those ones for Android or else, even the comparison on this site's page, which shows three versions of the American infantry in the three games, does absolutely nothing in favor of COH3. |
I'm a fan of the brand, I have 4000 hours of COH2 and I would like to continue with coh3. But for better or for worse, Reliq gave us the chance to test the game months ago, and I confess that I didn't like anything I saw and played. I still remember stopping completely with Coh1 when coh2 came out, I was hooked on the game, just like that, it was a natural thing. With this new game I didn't feel that, I forced myself to continue the demo and I could barely play half an hour. I don't know if it was the colors, the units that blended in with the environment, the different mechanics, more like coh1, the lack of zoom out, or whatever, but the fact is that I wasn't hooked on COH3. Therefore, it would be good for Reliq, and for us, to allow a free access to the game , even if it's just for a weekend Because 60€ is to much money. |
I can't agree more, I have 4000 hours of COH2, so I can say that I'm a fan of the brand, and I couldn't play the COH3 Demo for more than half an hour. The day I installed Coh2 was the day I stopped playing the previous game, I was immediately hooked on it, and I can't say the same about this game, on the contrary.
I play exclusively online, always with the zoom out to the maximum, but in COH3, in the demo, this zoom was terrible, the units are to flat , I could hardly see them, they have strange movement, also with horrible colors. About the game mechanics, I couldn't use Shift for multiple captures in minmapa,as I'm used to do in coh2, they shouldn't break with everything we are used to, because I want a continuation of the previous game not a complete new one, so in short, I didn't like almost anything in COH3. |
After your first paragraph I understand why I don't have any hype for this game, I simply stopped with Coh1 after coh2 arrived, and I tried coh3 for a couple of hours and I really don't like it, the colors, the units, the pace, almost everything. Resuming, if coh3 is aiming the Coh1 players, I'm keeping with coh2 till coh4. |
