may be a smurfing issue but not necessarily.
i belong to the club of the elderly myself and i would guess that the 20 year old version of me with the experience of fewer than a 100 games would beat the current 40 year old version of me with 1000+ games mercilessly.
of course the same 20 year old me would get beaten badly be another guy with the same experience but more talent.
while experience is a factor in coh2, skill and talent are much more important
We,the elders,who start computer games with a spectrum or else,have a slow CPU and few memory slots,I don't like all maps because some confuse me,I don't have any reference point and I use to forget where I send my units,even my"GFX" isn't very good,I use glasses to don't confuse my Luch with my Tiger,lol.
The point is that some times when I saw some replays I notice that some people plays with hot keys,the screen never stay in the same place for more than 2 seconds,they can't have any fun with that kind of play,only play to achieve the victory,this people in the top of ladder have to few games to achieve all those skill. I notice that I improve a lot since I start the automaches,in the previous coh,I only played one or two maps,but I fell that I reach the limit,if I found a great initial pressure I start to block my mind,sometimes I fund me with 2000 mp and no units in the ground,after few wins I use to think I'm a must,but sometimes later someone brings me to the earth,like a plane crash.... |

I confess that I'm a kind of Smurf,I play only the maps I like ,so if the automach don't give me one of the pretended map ,I quit. I said it because I have more defeats than victories,but 9 in 10 are fakes,and as I'm in the middle of the rank ladder I face normal players,but some times when I win very games in a row,I jump to coh2 premier league,and I found players that simple wipe me from the game before I notice what's happen,simple as that.Then I look for their stats and sometimes I found guys with a couple of games ,sometimes less than 100,it's not possible,people with so few games can't play like that,so two things may occur,people have two or more accounts,or use two computers,or different installation and use the steam cloud to cheat the ranks. Well,all this because I'm sick to be humiliated by guys with less than 1/4 or my games,is that Im a almost 50 years old guy,who still play this addictive game,but wont improve much more.Tanks for the comprehension. |

Something happens related with memory since the last patch,I never noticed any major lag,but lately,sometimes I barley can move the mouse.

This happens yesterday,so I try several things,ckdisk,my drivers are up to date as the OS,and at end,I remove the GPU and clean it,as the rest of computer,it seems to be better,I play four games without the mouse lag,but I have a sense that this problem was related with memory issue,I had it or at least a similar mouse lag,even without noise shutters,playing skyrim before doubled the Ram.
I think it starts due last 59 Mb patch. |

Sorry my English,I try explain as I can this bug and a request for any information.
Besides the well known delay of 1 to 20 seconds,yesterday during one 1vs1 automach,my game starts to do strange sounds and the game was absolutely unplayable due a enormous mouse lag,I can't simple control my mouse.Even after CRT+Alt+del this lag continues in windows desktop.This happens in my computer with 2 hard drives one with W7 the other W8.1 ,I have the game in both .And I never had this bug.
My PC is Amd phenonX6 ATI 7850 1Gb and 8Gb ram.As I said I have both Windows.Any help or advise should be welcome.tks

People who voted ,dont think like us.Is funny but last week has the funniest one playing this game.
I use my tactics and lead my game without think in counter the other player ones.Things that use to do.
LOL.The last game as American,I see the commander and the card,indicate that the other player will go to tiger tank,so I made my game around fuel points,and as he have less skill,was very easy tg m.A bit unfair. |

It was a bug.But I love it.
I mean, I want to use my best ones without reveal my strategy to my "enemies".If I use two infantries he know that I will made a infantry based game and so on.

Have you tried skipping tier 2 entirely? Don't build the building and rush strait for a PIV. Then back-tech to tier 2 and get a PAK or two. How many grenadiers are you getting? Three or more are generally required to keep enough map control.
I use to build every buildings.I get 1Gr.1Mg,1GR.1Mg then sometimes a mortar before build the next tier,then I get a PZgr and a half-track,I use to group a GR with a Mg and a PZGR without the bazooka and go allover the map looking for infantry fights,Its a non competitive strategy I know,but I look for some fun,then I build the next tier. Balance is very complicated, especially with various DLC Commanders thrown in the mix.
You might want to familiarise yourself with possible Sov Commanders a bit more, and deliberately ingame try to detect exactly what build and Commander your opponent is going for.
Personally, Im awaiting the final result from the SNF Tournament in terms of what faction won the most.
Unfortunately, I'm anticipating a massive Sov majority from what I've seen so far... Hopefully, I'm wrong.
Sometimes i do it,and I know that many people use new commander ,i dont,and as a 47 years old man ,i cant learn much more,I even dont like the new maps,but till now,a month ago,i use to have some fun with the game,but not now.In the last game semosky map,both controlling one fuel point,my opponent gets 2 T34 before I get one P4,and as I spent some munitions to destroy his clown cars,not even a bazooka to my PZGr. Its frustrating. |
