I thought the idea is to cram as much MG on your tank as possible ala Fury to fend off inf, trucks and aircraft. |

if you include buying a monitor and a keyboard for the normal rig, its about right.
its not a nogo but if you dont have a lot of cash, or arent depserately in need of being very mobile, i would always go for a normal rig.
the choice of the motherboard depends on the platform you want to choose and that depends on the pricepoint
for the new skylake generation, the asus z170 pro gaming is the standart recommendation for example. but honestly, if you want to buy a new pc, wait one month more, because atm it is the worst time to buy a new pc, as nivida has just launched (very high prices) and amd will launch in 2 weeks (low availability)
It's cool I would have to wait till December to buy PC anyway (discount and sale...) so usually how long does it take for new stuffs to cool down to affordable prices anyway? |

Man look at all those sweet ultra gaming rig, if I won a lottery I would ditch my 7-year old rig and grab one of those, I travel a lot so any tips for a decent gaming laptop in the range of $1000 to $1500? |
So, just tested it out. New farming (max 4 warspoils a day)

Use cheat command mod annihilation
After 5 minute mark spawn combat engineers and use demolition charge to blow up the base.
?????
PROFIT!
Actually I find it very boring yet I find the news system easily abused than ever
Confirmed working, alternatively just spam AT, less micro required. |
Soviet Strafe is crap: the radius it shows is misleading, P-47 strafe is exactly like OH version in CAS so it's fine. |
The whole point of light vehicles, and these are what you are usually getting your first AT against, is their shock value. Having AT on the field minimises the shock value, while teching it only when seeing the vehicle adds additional shock value to enemy units. They simply have free reign untill you come up with a counter. AT guns are the best counter becouse they have range that allows them to cover big part of the map and ambush enemy vehicles. They also scale better than any other early AT thanks to high penetration and damage (not counting M-42) so they are not becoming useless in AT department late game, just like guards. PIATs and shreck also scale well but, taking into consideration new patch, shreck is as much of investment as AT gun (about same amount of mp both for pgrens and sturmpio, they loose most AI power with upgrade) and PIAT needs good attack ground micro and is also probably going to get nerfed soon. Its worth it to learn PIAT micro though, its the best late game counter to super heavies.
PIAT is more late game AT than anti light vehicle rush, I prefer Tank Hunter Section or AEC + 6-pounder. Also people keeps forget about mines: always lay mines when you have surplus muni, especially for Soviet and UK who don't normally get good AT, a light vehicle run into a mines is usually a death sentence for it. |
I know it was Airborne from Band of Brothers but I wanted to show off the coats they had and there isnt much good pictures on the internet, I couldve used the infantry from the movie Fury but they all had assorted equipment and there wasnt any clear photos of just them
Soviet Snipers, Jaegers use white camoflauge so your argument kind of fails, it was just Relic got really lazy when it came to doing Winter versions of WFA armour its just summer with a scarf and some snow splattered tell me which WFA units have a different winter model/skin other than Volksgrenadiers and Jaegers
CoH2 when it came out used to be skinnable, here is a screenshot of reskinned Grenadiers, I dont know why Relic never reimplemented this we have some very talented modders in this community and we've also seen some nice skins for vehicles from various members so I dont know why Relic wont let us skin/model infantry to our own tastes

I agree, vCOH is fully skin-customized, DOWII has tons of skins too I don't know why Relic doesn't implement those in COH2. vanilla factions have clearly different summer/winter skin while WFA winter is just summer version slapping on white paint. |
As UKF always get a 6-pounder after your AEC/Bofor, USF can rely on Captain + Rifle AT-nade for a while, for Soviet currently I rush T-70 first then get AT later or get Zis first if OH goes double 222 or OKW goes Luchs. AT-nade should be teched when you see OH T2 up or when OKW does not go med HQ. |
