Imo, the champion rotation thing would be good, as well as some free commanders every now and then, but I think it'd be best if the commanders were free. I'm all for selling skins and facplates (I even made a sarcastic post defending them), but I thought they were going for a competitive esport thing and I don't think selling multiplayer advantage, even situational, is the way to do that. joke In: COH2 Balance

If you want to use a non-preselected commander, you buy it. Thread: This game sucks.2 Oct 2013, 01:40 AM proof of concept the NKVD Disruption Tactics sucks. un upgraded conscripts loose to everything German. what to do? blob against them? big mistake. did you think about using penal battalions? huge manpower drainage. snipers. i have always bad luck with snipers stupid storm(bad luck), sigh. this game was slow. stupid and too simple to be interesting, no big plays, no special moves, just plain unit vs unit combat. hence the name. choosing this commander is dropping your advantage to the enemy. Like vcoh tech tree. in that case i disagree, you are enforcing a rock paper scissor gameplay. were one player picks a commander and the other has to activate its counter. in a future 1000 commander model for coh2 this wont work. Doctrinal units should add flavors, new ways to do things but not be essential to win as if the other side dont use it itself. Doctrinal units should not be counter vs other doctrinal units or concepts. Example : Sovs without gards should still be able to strive at tank warfare.
