Against the Comet it also bounces twice in a row, I honestly decided to stop choosing the commanders who employ it. It takes a long time to arrive, it is very expensive, it is very slow, and let me tell you that against the infantry it is not exactly good, a blind man armed with a sling and a stone has more aim and kills faster than that thing. Two Panzer IVs are more useful.
Just don't try, don't play 4v4 as Axis alone. Maybe you have a chance if one of them goes afk, or they have a much lower skill, but other things being equal there are no chances. The same will always happen.
OST example:
1)-you build a MG and grens -> spend a few minutes and you are overshadowed by 3 or 4 allied squadrons (blobs) and you lose the positions.
2)-If you are lucky and managed to conserve one of the fuel points, you get a pz IV and push a little -> the allied TDs arrive.
3)- it's mid-game the blobs and TD's dominate the field and you don't have the capacity to make a counterattack, your allies goes afk GG.
Conclusion, play premade with your friends, or you won't have a chance. If you don't have premade and are too masochistic to go into 4v4, then the best thing to do is follow your ally's movements at all times as if you were a support. Maybe it will prolong the game long enough for one of the enemies to lose connection haha, or simply play as allies.
The su-76 is a pretty underrated unit, and with good reason, there are simply better things to spend those resources on, if I need AT capacity, I'd rather build a Zis and save that fuel for something more useful. I love the su-85, in my opinion, it is the best TD in the game in price-performance ratio, especially in team games, if you have two in front negates all Axis armor, it is not damage or precision what It makes it so very effective, is the vision, "Focused Vision" is a great skill and if you have excess ammo you can use "Track" to catch tanks or detect support weapons, maybe they should move "Focused Vision" to Vet 1.
Well it's pretty imprecise, sometimes it falls in the middle, other times it falls, it's very easy to dodge, even for support weapons, maybe it works for Sim Cities, I think sometimes it's better to spend those 200 ammunition on something else. ost is packed with abilities like that just like Stuka's AT abilities in Close Air Support, the lucky, ammunition and skill needed to use that thing just aren't viable, even if you're psychic clairvoyant and successful, the damage it does it's a joke.
Simply the riflemen can perfectly handle a blob of PzGren Shreks
plus that implies that the player spent 1020MP and 300 muni, a number of brutal OST resources that can even fail against certain allied tanks, why? because they lose models almost instantly and squads with 2 models have low DPS, and that's true for Grens too, at that point in the game a USF player already has veteran units with weapon upgrades that are superior to any OST counterpart and this is one of the reasons why ineffective using blobs with OST (I said OST not OKW), you think like many of the USF players (Blobs + TD) that's why you think that some squads of PzGrens + Shreks eliminate everything in front of them but no, OST is a faction that inevitably leaves the infantry in the background and relies on support weapons, tanks, and doctrinal skills and not on blobs, at least that's my opinion.
For Ost Removal of the Relief Infantry ability from all commanders who use it (a useless ability that takes up a screen interface). Increased damage and requirements of the Close Air Support commander the Stuka JU-87 Anti-Tank Strafe ability (the skill, luck and resources required to use this are not worth the damage they do).
Why would Relic give Grens one more model? Do you realize how unskilled or inexperienced you sound when you compare Axis infantry to allies and claim Axis infantry to be weaker?
Grens vs Infantry
240 vs 280 (1-0)
4 models vs 5 models (1-1)
Long range vs Medium range (2-2)
Rifle grenade vs Mk 2 grenade (needs research which costs MP and Fuel) (3-2)
Panzerfaust at 0 vet vs AT nades at vet 1 (4-2)
Free lmg upgrade vs Bars (needs SEPARATE research which costs MP and Fuel) (5-2)
More accuracy vs Less accuracy (6-2)
Can make bunkers vs can't make shit (not confident on this might have changed) (7-2)
can heal other units on frontline vs can't do shit (8-2)
All these above comparison was on non doctrinal basis, still think Riflemen are superior? Fire away. Also Idk how you got around how the Ost support weapons are superior when I did mention how US falls short.
Ho
Boy, you are very aggressive, did you have a bad day?
1. OST mortar GrW 34 has 5 range more than US 81 mm mortar, adding to that the counter barrage ability.
2. Pak 40 has stun armor option, comprehend that, stun the target. Insane pen as compared to US. Although US at has increased view ability and AP rounds but that does not stops the tank or prevents it from using the smoke ability.
3. Mg 42. Do we really need to discuss this? AP rounds, arc, supporting infantry dps. T0 build.
4.
SNIPER
.
If the relic gives the Grens a one more model and gives them the same statistics as the Riflemans currently have, I honestly wouldn't mind if the mortar and the Pak (which I consider currently bad) receive a Nerf, and put the mg42 in t1.
