Saying USF doesn't need smoke because vcoh americans didn't need smoke is ridiculous. Coh2 Americans are completely different then vCOH americans. In vCoh you could build MGs, snipers, mortars, and jeeps. All which helped them counter MGs. In COH2 they have nothing like that until they tech up and build another unit. Without smoke they won't have any way of countering MGs for a long time.
Yeah I stopped reading when I read that. |
Wehrmacht is perfectly fine. |
Voice actors are expensive I guess..
Good thing they're selling it then. |
why is the t70 better at its role (70 fuel) compared to ostwind (100)?
cherry picking
oh and nice political statement, but the world is not black and white (western hemisphere good guys /eastern hemisphere bad guys)
Because a t70 dies in 2 atg shots and the ostwind does not |
jackson (1-2) + pershing is a magic combo.
480 fuel worth of units disregarding teching worth of untits is a magic combo? Really? |
They are garbage, there is no reason to use them instead of cons.
They are even worse now after the flame dot nerf. |
No reason to have a pershing over 2 shermans as of now.
You get smokes, self repair, better AI, worse AT in terms of penetration, self crit repair, with the EZ-8 it's even more one sided, all in all heavy cavalry is a good doctrine but not because of the Pershing. |
I never wanted a simulator from Relic, Men of War does that, what I wanted was a fun WWII RTS from them and it's hard to have fun when so many things go the opposite way of what they were like in real life.
COH is not a realistic game, but its charme is that it represents battle scenarios through gameplay mechanics, you simulate territory control through capture points, supply lines by cutting off said capture points and so on, the same should happen for units, they shouldn't be exactly as they were in real life, but they should attempt to follow those lines, when you have the Pershing, a better armoured tank than a tiger and panther while being slower, be FASTER and LESS armoured that breaks my immersion, same for the weapon calibers being all over the place, su-76 and su-85 as mentioned above, t4 flaks penetrating shermans, 20mm scout car doing nothing to but PII and Centaur 20mm shredding.
There's balance, and then there's common sense. |
If you fix the double shot the muni cost needs to be considerably decreased. |
What the hell is this argument even about, this is one of the stupidiest reasoning I've ever heard to no have something ingame.
Just half of the shermans were 76mm? So what? By that logic the tiger, tiger II, Ostwind, sturmtiger and jagdtiger should be removed from the game because of how incredibly rare they were, the last 3 being in the tens.
There are gameplay reasons to not have a sherman 76mm ingame, that is the sherman easy eight and the jackson, not some retarded logical fallacy about there not being enough 76mm during the war when you have the fucking sturmtiger ingame. |
