So, instead of increased reinforcement costs, why not just simply increase the time of reinforcement...? It has the same effect as delaying retreated units to return to the field, effecting you more if you loose a lot of models, but it still does give you an advantage of performing semi-hard retreats.
1. Step: Mr.Smith, Miragefla and Me are looking / remembering to our Games, where we were losing; about which unit raped us (I mean we can't lose because of lack skill; that is for sure. So it has to be only the unit self)
2. Step: We have a list from 1 to 12 and 2 dice and then we roll.
1-6: make the unit UP as fuck
7: Let it be as it is
8- 12 make the unit OP as fuck
3. Step. Sometimes Relic comes to us and ask friendly if we want to change X, Y unit. Then it depends, how is our feeling at the moment if we say YES or NO
4. Step: Ofc we only make changes which are great for us self alone. Who cares about the Community.

Yes my Internetbrowser was open the whole time. Really sorry. I did not even had the time to read here everything. Because i have other stuff to do. So i thought i give atleast a short response.
Atm i have 9 Internettabs open, which is normal for me. And then Skype and discord as well...
Your best bet is to hope for a reply by Kyle, or look for official interviews with Relic staff on the net, to get an idea of how they do things. Community members who have insight probably wont be allowed to share too much.
And yes all the work is free. We don't get any money from it!
In our freetime we try to make this game, which we all love, better. Even after 4-5 Years exist.
And pls, its still Relic/ Sega Game so ofc they make the drill.
