Lots of back and forth. Trying to make this commissar doctrine work. I'm still not very good at using his abilities - seems I should be getting penals since conscripts feel too squishy to be aggressive with.
All in all though this features lots of fun tank play, and as far as I could see from my own vantage point, this game could've gone either way up the very end. |
Still learning USF |
IDK clip it or something |
Sturmtiger, double King Tiger v Fireflies, T3485s and SU85s
Infantry plays, but after ~15 minutes it became a slogfest for the middle VP.
Some decent action here and there, unsure how enjoyable it is to watch.
I mean it IS an hour! |
My howis did next to nothing :< |
First game from hiatus, was pretty good. Features Greyhounds. Not super happy with my plays, and have some sausagefingers here and there. |
This felt like a much longer game. |
Loving that 221 early game. Felt like mid game was a bit stagnant and I was able to come back, carried hard first by a P4 and then KT.
I'm starting to learn this doctrine though. The muni float is real. |
Game 2 out of 2, forgive the salty text, I'd just gotten rekt by valentines while trying sturmpioneers the previous game. This one made me feel a little better admittedly.
Finding that the 221 is especially useful if your opponent goes for an early UC, specifically when that UC will be used to contest in order to get multiple valentines.
AFAIK there's no solid way to counter (well-played) Valentines without OKW T4. Pumas tend to miss - a lot - primarily in my view due to the fact the vehicle has tires instead of tracks, which means that it's far more prone to be in the "status_moving" state, which decreases accuracy and increases spread.
Would have to test that theory, but it's a "feeling" I have based on my uses of the unit to counter Valentines in the past. |
Just testing something, seems to be working alright.
Might try this from now on, see how it works and against what. |
