Im sick and tired of every1 doing pio spamm ! The dimensions of bigger 1v1 maps rly encourage this , since small arms dmg is not rly that good, pios can sustain cons for some time while making much dmg in close quarter... Everytime its couple of pios , OP and rush flamer HF and scout car with pgrens to overun guards and then quick tanks (note: mg bunkers on fuel is constant)
I dont have habbit of complaining , and i rly do like the game, but this is killing my wish to further play , I just cant deal with that playstyle
If any1 got an idea how to deal with it pls share it with me , cuz i have tried every god damn thing , and i cant just cant find a way to deal with it and im tired of it srsly :<
If there arent any good tactics to beat this imo either nerf pios a bit since they are 200mp still no problem going against cons or engs both 240
Or make smaller 1v1 maps ,only Kholodny Ferma feels like true 1v1 map, others are just so wast, thats just my opinion.

oh, since when this game have in "real life?"
I guess u see this game as fantasy , and from now to further on i wont argue with you cuz u dont see that game is realistic , but still needs balance and devs i guess tried to keep as much realism as possible but still making the game function which is quite hard you know cuz its unique RTS, this is not Call of Duty |
relic devs said the building cover in real life did provide much greater protection to troops that are inside , which is true i guess
and its not like u re unable to remove from buildings , imo but snipers should take care of troops inside easier , similar to vcoh

ONE THING that bothers me though is the loading, not how long it takes to load a map but every time I click "start", it lag-ingly goes to black and then lag-ingly into the map, but after that it's smooth, this bothers me when playing online as someone always have to say "nice lag" or something like that, oh well I guess that's the part where my ram is lacking..if only DDR2 wasn't so expensive these days...
Oh and it would be nice if there were more graphics options available like in COH1.
Yea that used to happen to me 2, rly annoying... but after few patches and driver updates the problem was gone by itself . They fixed that driver warning as well,used to have it daily even thou it was updated to latest now it doesnt appear anymore
True about more options part, sure would be nice if graphic settings were more customizable!

LOL first time i see some mg42 spam... i dunno i find spamming redundant (except tanks )
ive played vs mg spam once (3 mgs early game) and cons rly intercept nicely , also wires helps and ofc early mortar gets the job done ... i had luxury of picking those nice mgs and using them my self
I didnt find even maxim spamm that hard to deal with

and soviets dont have godmode 120mm mortar with huuuge range? also m3+sniper nice range , and i dunno how ur m3 gets killed by mg.. u just need to micro around it, also duo mg early restricts his map control so u can gain advantage there , and main thing i hate when playing germans is when soviets enter buildings (germans lacking nades until tier 2 and even then they are nothing special), and u can intercept that mg with oorah, or if he manages to load u can molotov building
Also use smoke with soviet mortar if u are trying to flank...or load cons into m3, come up to a building molotov -> load cons back in and drive off , he has to reposition so u can catch him off guard

I didnt notice flanking mg is that hard... I play both, and as soviet its not that big of a difference, about +80hp... why u all mad? cuz u cant make duo sniper + SU-85 and automaticly win game? at least not german crew has a chance
And again they didnt get dmg buff or armor or anything other , just 80hp |
lately ive seen soviets go for t2 -> t3
Its pretty effective imo , they always save for 2 t-34s before risking a ram or and AT gun is good for support if u dont want to ram, and also go htd+ppsh to get rid of potention pgrens with shrecks
Also pak are useless cuz soviets have a lot of munition flow and zis just barages it, same with mg... hardly counterable |
When u upgrade guards with DP machine gun, u unlock special ability that allows u to "button" enemy vehicles (try to search it in bottom right corner of screen where abilities ussualy are) . What button does is ur guards shoot at the opening from where tank members look out (in dutch thats called "luik") thats why tank members have to close it loosing sight and tank is unable to shoot or look and moves very slowly while button ability lasts (about 15 secs , not sure)

Didnt u read? , cons get melted in 5-7 secs u wont even manage to get close! believe me soviet guy ragged all over cuz of his squad dying in a blink of an eye, cuz he tought it was taken care off with simple nade+few shots from small arms... and if he gets close u can just hit reverse but 50.cal (nice dmg even on his own) will still be shooting and LMG will still be shooting, just a bit macro and it devastates enemy troops |
