oh don't worry, there will be people screaming OP 5 minutes after WFA is released.
The US gameplay video on youtube is already overloaded with comments screaming USA OP!!1!1
It's funny because USF is probably the weakest faction currently. The fact that people make balance judgements off such a video is simply retarded. |

Twister! Great player, super nice guy. Always a pleasure playing against him, never seen him rage even the slightest bit.
+1 Twister keep being awesome man. |

Holy crap, he really didn't have a fan club? Well I'm proud do be the first response in this.
OMGPOP is a freaking ridiculously good player. In my opinion, when he's on his game, he's the best 1v1 player CoH 2 has seen so far. (Not to discredit Baron, Jesulin, Cata, Giap, Hans, etc)
He's also able to refine strats to a scary level of perfection, in a very short amount of time.
Overall great player, great strategist, and great 2v2/practice partner. |
Elite is rather unfitting word.
They are more like utility.
I'd call the Lieut and Captain elite, the Major utility. |

The leaderboard sorts itself out. You get high on the leader board using whatever fotm strat you either adapt to the new patch or you fall down to where you should be. If you don't play you decay and fall down the leaderboard.
All a reset would do is satisfy the people whose ego does not allow their stats to accurately display their failures.
+1, also losses don't matter, ladder rank doesn't matter, win/loss ratio doesn't matter. The only two things that matter are if you're having fun playing and if you're still consistently improving your own gameplay. That's my take on it anyways. I'd prefer to keep current stats so that ELO remains the same so I don't have to waste time playing against people considerably worse than me. |
Hell of a game featuring some really good players. Don't really know what to say other than vGG, vWP just sit back, relax and enjoy the carnage - this game has a lot of it.
Hope to see you guys again |
Member Application Form
Assuming you have read the clan introduction and rules and are interested in joining RtN, the application process is as follows:
Notify a member of staff of your wish to join; if you know an existing clan member then you may have them nominate you.
Your application should comprise a Steam profile URL, a valid e-mail address and a brief written introduction as to why you wish to join RtN. It will then be reviewed by the clan staff.
If your initial application is successful, you will have to undergo a two-week trial membership period. This is in order to give you time to interact with existing clan members and have them evaluate your eligibility as a potential addition to the clan.
At the end of your trial membership there will be a poll among existing members as to whether or not to admit you into the clan as a full member. A simple majority of one or more votes in favour is all that is required.
Once you have been admitted as a full member you will be eligible to:
Wear RtN clan tags, should you so wish.
Request an official RtN clan avatar. (These are much-vaunted, and potentially lucrative).
Make use of the RtN clan Mumble server.
Harass bigrat and Bradare will full impunity.
Take part in clan tournaments.
Brag about being in a clan with a handful of genuinely great CoH2 players.

RtN Clan Rules
Who are we?
Remember the Name (RtN) is a mixed-ability gaming clan set up to foster a community of friendly, outgoing and constructive individuals who are interested in having fun in and learning more about the games they play. We host a number of inter-clan activities and encourage regular use of the RtN group chat room and Mumble server. Our maxim is to be magnanimous in both victory and defeat.
Rules
In order to make life easier and fairer for our members and to remove ambiguity from how we expect individuals to conduct themselves, we have a set of rules. They are few, but they are important and we expect them to be adhered to.
The following will not be permitted:
Intolerance. This includes - but is not limited to - discrimination based on sex, race, colour, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, association with a national minority, property, birth or other such status. (Exceptions can be made when dealing with bigrat or Bradare).
Cheating, hacking, trolling and griefing. If you do not play fairly within the confines of a game you will be removed from the clan. We have exercised this right before and will do so again if necessary. This includes premature 'gg' calling with the intent to insult, undermine or enrage other players.
Sustained inactivity. We encourage members to play an active role within the clan; if you require a leave of absence longer than a week or feel that you no longer have the time or interest to remain within RtN then please speak to one of the staff.
Defamation of the clan name/tag. RtN is represented by its members; behaving inappropriately within the confines of a game or its respective chat rooms and forums serves only to damage the reputation of the clan, and by association its other members.
These rules will be enforced.
Guidelines
Furthermore, please bear the following in mind:
In general we expect members to be polite and amiable; however, there are a variety of personalities and senses of humour within the clan membership, and so it is important to know when someone is being serious and when they're not. (On that note, be wary of the purple bovine).
Whilst wearing the clan tag is not mandatory, it is during tournament matches in which you are representing RtN.
Users undergoing trial membership are not permitted to wear the clan tag.
Finally, there is an application process for prospective members. This is outlined in a post on this sub-forum.
If you have any questions, problems or queries then please contact one of the clan staff -- these individuals are denoted by silver (moderator) or gold (officer) stars next to their names on the members list.
If you disagree with a comment or decision a member of staff has made, please contact CieZ. |
Crazy close game, down to the wire. Unorthodox German opening from me, but I think it ultimately paid off. Hopefully some one can cast this
