im glad arty is a piece of shit in coh2.. worst thing about vcoh was sometimes you had to dodge double arty, first offmap arty and then onmap often at the same time.. it got pretty ridiculous. Noobs with 30 apm ofcourse loved it so they could claim "I win with out-thinking my opponent, not by clicking faster".
If those "noobs" with 30 apm won against you, guess who the real noob is |
The Elephant is not OP.
The ISU is op.
BUT the elephant is OP vs the ISU. So if the ISU didn't exist the elephant would be not OP (or viewed as op, because he isn't OP).
And the Elephant is a bit usefull against IS2, and because of Company of Callins, the Elephant is often a good choice, because you neeeed him vs the OP ISU anyway. |
On another node I always thought it was silly that MGs don't reload after a fight... (not the bursts, but that sounds like BS too), but the actual 6? second reload. Nothing better than a MG you set perfectly up against 2 rushing cons, and it reloads after the first burst. |
You also SUPPORT your Grens when your SUPPORT MG42 locks down a sector alone, because it creates space for them / protects their flank / whatever. |
Because of VAT that is in whole europe.
No matter what you buy, as long as its in europe it will cost you over 20% more.
Is there a US and EU version? If not I could buy it for 20$ and use it in the EU? |
The Officer has his uses. He is a sorely underused unit.
1.The unit is basically an unupgraded gren squad in terms of durability and firepower (not sure but i think the march deployment update nerfed his armor and dmg)
Someone knows how his Pistol compares to the standard rifle?
2.He has synergy with blobs of infantry. His Concentrated Fire ability increases the accuracy of all infantry around him by about 15%. The more units around the officer, the better. This is why he works well with osttruppen. The ability is great for lengthy medium-long range engagements, as your units will be simply more accurate than theirs.
This makes it sound like it has a better effect, if more units are affected. AKA: "For every unit affected, evry unit gets +5%." But thats not how it works. So basically it doesn't work especially well with Ostrtuppen. (And it works on tanks).

Because I am a lazy ass. And I have other games to play too. So no time Nothing really organizers can do I guess. |
I would go with Hulldown, Spottingscopes, Ambushcamo, Muni for fuel and some offmap to counter arty. I really wish there was a commander with Hulldown and Spottingscope )= Maybe there isn't because it's such an obvious synergy.^^ |
Yeah, they should really do something about it.
Little tip for MGs in houses in general: If your opponent attacks with 2 Units from two sides, let your Mg surpress one unit and DONT change target. If the enemy throws a Molotov from the other side, most of the time it will do no damage, because your guys are all on the other side of the house. |
This sounds fucking reasonable!
No overnerfs/overbuffs, the reactions to this patchnotes would not be "oh wow, look how much changed" but rather: "well, this is all good and understandable. what a nice way to slowly balance a game." |
