Thread: How to counter Ost snipair abuse in 2v2?13 Apr 2016, 17:05 PM L2 countersnipe. Your sniper camos in any type of cover, even if it's a small crater on an open road. Get your sniper as close to the enemy as you can while in cover, send ISs to bait enemy sniper, and click the button when he shows his face. Its easier to counter snipe him if he doesn't know you have a sniper so don't reveal him if you don't have to. Note that he won't have alot of grens to walking around b/c snipers are expensive so you shouldn't have a hard time getting in close. If he has 222 then use ATG which always scales well. Sniper can even spot for it and crit shot the 222. Aggressive mines can sometimes work too. As double USFs, BARSand smoke or vehicles. There are 2 types of players in this game. Those who use hotkeys and can therefore micro snipers, and those who don't use hotkeys and hate snipers because they can't use them effectively. In: Strategy Desk

That was specifically the type of map I was referring to. On other maps I have no problem with dealing with tanks of all types. The next question I guess is how you deal with Calliopes as ostheer in a 2v2 AT where the USFs Ally actually helps defend his Calliopes for him? I had a game a few months back against Ciez and Momo and they went Calli and crom spam with arty cover on rails and metal. I went Jaeger armor and got 222 with spotting scopes for my elephant and a pwerfer. They just kept bombing us out they rushing with croms. Felt pretty hopeless... Thread: VIPUKS can help you to play better.13 Apr 2016, 16:37 PM Jump back to quoted post13 Apr 2016, 12:31 PMVIPUKS Well I guess you should deal with cromwells same as you deal with t34/85s, 2 paks is standard call, if stugs get flanked use spotting scopes on them and p4 shouldn't go alone, it's important that you support every unit with what you got, tellers don't have to be everywhere sometimes it's enough to put it on choke point and later or sooner it will drive over it. If you are getting overwhelmed by tanks it would be a smart choice not to split over the map and focus on one part and watch your flanks. Stugs get circle strafed too easily, P4s get outnumbered, Pgrens get crushed, panthers too expensive. Teller mines can't be everywhere.... In: Strategy Desk

Thread: 2vs2,3vs3 and 4vs411 Apr 2016, 16:37 PM IMO, the 2 things to focus on in 3s and 4s are your army composition, and how you can best hold territory with it. Note that I didn't mention building an army that inflicts the most bleed to your opponents. This advice may seem pretty obvious but its often over looked. In big team games, communication and teamwork is what wins it overall. Try and see what your allies are building or trying to achieve and ask yourself how you can best help make that happen. Big blobs are never as powerful as 2-3 smaller ones because it gives you a third of the amount of options when attacking and defending. Watch out for bad retreat paths. Gardening remove them and buff brits accordingly, i am sick of losing full health lmg grens to one shots from mortar pits. Or give them a 5th man and need each entity accordingly. Grenns get wiped by all AOE weapons too easily cuz there only 4 men who like the hold hands in battle. Also spread out the dmg of mortar pits. Larger overall AOE, smaller lethal AOE. In: COH2 Balance
