Yes, I agree. It comes way too late. And doesn't give you enough value for the micro you put into it. It was certain that this unit will disappear from meta after the nerfs it took, so no surprise there if nobody uses it anymore.
What's surprising, however, is that they didn't revert any of its nerfs after nerfing both its timing and firepower. I thought they'd buff it a little bit after those harsh nerfs it took. I don't know whether the balance team thinks it's in a good state right now or they simply forget it. |

Unless you wanna pay Matt the price pool if indeed the tournament is ruined, in which case fair play and power to you. The point is if you’re gonna ruin a big tournament where people donated their hard earned money, there should be consequences.
Stop applying pressure to the balance team in order to nerf the unit you want. They aren't obliged to quit or anything even if they've overbuffed an unit. Balance changes aren't made over a night, neither they should made. God knows how long will we play on this patch. Regardless of the tournament you keep using as an excuse for nerfing sections, things need to settle down first before deciding which unit needs a buff/nerf. |

I was playing on Vilshanka, my opponent built an AA HT, parked in front of my MG, I have waited until my MG gets Vet1 so that I could use Incendiary rounds to damage his HT, did so but MG stopped firing altogether after loading up Incendiary Rounds despite AA HT still sitting in its arc.

Firefly is pretty balanced. It's great against heavies but not-so-much against mediums because of rate-of-fire. Doesn't have the mobility of a Jackson but at least its mobility isn't as terrible as SU-85. Its skill-shot is great in the sense that it requires micro and muni investment to be effective but it's powerful when it actually hit. |
Penal where used almost exclusively before that.
When it comes to combat, G43 PF come later, need 80 munition, take a commander and even then they are not do that much better.

Cheaper reinforce cost, recon option, actual grenades, much better scaling and sprint. |
I agree that T0 Medics should function like the Soviet HQ Medics. While we are at it, Whermacht could use a T0 Medic Upgrade as well (Yes Whermacht could make a Medic Bunker in Base but So could British if they made a Forward Assembly in base and upgraded it however this would be a small quality of life change) Though Personally I feel all factions should have T0 HQ Medics as it would provide an alternative to Forward HQs which are obviously far superior to the factions that have it available to them than standard retreating.
Yeah, I always wondered why they didn't give every faction (except OKW, obviously since that'd be a big balance change) just T0 HQ Medics and be done with it. Asymmetrical gameplay, I guess? |
