Someone who sounds like he knows what he is talking about. The Steam servers certainly are getting win/loss information, and in-game there still seems to be coding relating to drops and disputes. So something is coming out of those games that affect your stats and your rank. If it is coming out, can't it also be ported to something else that uses it? We don't need the full functionality of the new leaderboards, but adding a bit more than currently exists would be an improvement. Yes, I know won't get something big. What I am wondering is if there is a kernel of use from the current leaderboards taht could be used to make soemthing more of what is currently in Steam. In: Lobby

We know that CoH1 suffered more from the move to Steam than from the release of CoH2. Is there a chance that the code for the Leaderboard is easily portable to CoH1? After all it isn't about in-game mechanics but about wins/losses/drops and disputes. In: Lobby

If you weren't able to then sit back, watch the replays, maybe post some, and see what you did wrong. I too was very frustrated in vCoH when I would lose time after time to obvious strategies that, in-game, I just didn't seem able to counter. But someone was countering them and I just had to learn how. And how to recognize what was being played against me. I am still learning those things. We lose sometimes. We have bad nights sometimes. We draw players better than us as opponents sometimes. But for all the whining about balance, if you look at the leaderboards it seems that on average Germans have a higher percentage win ratio for a given rank than Soviets. One could infer that Germans win more often and so are the OP team. In: COH2 Gameplay

He never considered himself or spoke of himself as a hero, it was his men who did that. And though that attack happened (the men of Easy give credit for most of the kills to the artillery) it is possible in small unit actions for even the most elite units to find themselves on the wrong end of luck. It wasn't a "fair fight". It wasn't meant to be.
