all other tanks at 800 hp are medium tanks. For the Pershing to be a heavy, they should give it at least another 80 hp in order to go along the line with relic logic.
I'm still a proponent of the Early/Mid War and the Late War factions.
I.e., Coh2 launches with 1942/43 German and Soviet factions and the time period factions can't play against each other.
Each faction would have a similar basic structure, but some weapons and tanks would be different. There could be similar commanders as well, but also completely different ones.
This would've let coh2 expand on the Eastern Front (with a Finnish or a Finnish/German faction) and conceivably cover each area in Europe; N. Africa, Italy, 1944/45 France/Belgium/Netherlands/Germany.
also more $$$$$ for them. This would make balance more complicated, though.
Ewwww, short barreled Panzer III/IV´s, even a KV-1 would rape them
The 37mm Stuka strafe used to have bad accuracy and nobody cared about it, until Relic decided to buff its accuracy to make it more useful, and when it started hitting tanks & infantry, it also started wiping them with its 120dmg cannons (Before the accuracy buff, the strafe was a joke, and people preferred to spam the suppression strafe that also wiped Soviet Sniper teams, and back then the IL-2 strafe was OP with its 20dmg per hit, before it got nerfed to the ground)
If we want realistic small arms, then machine guns should wipe everything from long range, and semi-automatic rifles would kill anyone with bolt-action/SMG, and in close quaters SMG´s and instant kill flamers would dominate everyone, flamers could even disable enemy tanks
You may calm down, since every weapon in the game has a slight chance to penetrate the armor of a tank, i killed a immobilized Tiger Ace that had its turret blown off by shooting it in the rear armor with 4 M5 Quad´s for 20 minutes (The opponent had quit the match by then), then it finally blew up, just #Believe in the and you may witness in your own eyes how a "45mm AT gun" penetrates the armor of a Tiger!
But when DSHK arrived at 0 CP everyone said that it was op with its 16dmg, then it was nerfed to 12dmg and now it deals 10dmg and arrives at 2CP´s, atleast the weapon does not get destroyed when the crew is still alive, so it has had some indirect buffs to it, and Ostheer bunkers got nerfed a long time ago, so i dont think that Relic would want to give the Soviets the ability to build MG emplacements
Hey hey, didint COH 1 units have this problem aswell?, the snipers had it fixed, but i still think that all the other handheld AT still likes to dance in COH 1
KV-2 doesnt get any combat vet, its mostly turning speed for the turret or speed to the tank, but i dont even know that is it possible to even reach VET 2-3 with it even if you would buff its veterancy to a godlike status
