I don’t think it was a relic, the ‘42’ means it is a 1942 design. Unless I’m mistaken it was based on the mg34 (1934 design) but had a simplified mechanism (no burst shot option?) and was pressed rather than cast making it easier to make and more reliable. Thread: CoH3 Player Retention & Monetization17 Dec 2019, 13:04 PM I think CoH3 should monetise ammunition. You have to pay to stock up various ammunition types before matches like mg, rifle, mortar and grenades etc. If games go on too long you could have pop ups with things like “At gun rounds are low! Click here to replenish them from your wallet”. If you don’t pay units run out in game. Also you could perhaps pay extra for premium ammunition that does more damage. In: Lobby

Thread: Gratitude to patch team13 Sep 2019, 18:06 PM I just want to say thanks to the patch team for their work once more. I was particularly impressed with the speed of the development and rollout of this latest very large patch suggesting they’ve really got the hang of it. Sure there are a few bugs etc and possibly some fine tuning after all the changes but it’s impressive what they’ve done unpaid. As a Wehraboo I would particularly like to single out the 0.3 boost to repair speed by teching minesweepers for gratitude. As you stare at the pile of wrecked tanks parked in your base this provides just that little balm to soothe the frustration and get back to the fun action bit a little quicker. In: Lobby
