Thread: Commander Overlap a serious problem26 Nov 2013, 01:10 AM Could be do-able - you have so many points to spend, abilities cost less or more points to add to rosters, depending on their effectiveness/power/whatever central characteristic is deemed important. Could also spend points on 'repeatability' - e.g. only buy 1 ability that you really like, but spend the rest of the points on re-use tokens. Or something. Can't see it happening, and could be even worse to balance! In: Lobby

Thread: The Car Thread21 Nov 2013, 21:11 PM That zimmer needs bigger rims, defo. Just taken a set of 19 BBS LMs off my golf - they were slighty too big and scraped the arches. Now need to get the arches painted Rest of it is tuned about as much as it can go w/out charging it in one way or another… KW v3 sus + lowered, full miltek inc sports cats, performance filter, remapped. Pushing about 270 brake I think. My weekend car is a Westfield with an Astra GTE red top engine - pocketed pistons, forged con rods, Jenvey TBs, dry sumped, straight cut Quaife racing box, LSD etc. etc. Goes like stink Went to a classic car show the other day, they had some fabulous metal there. Never seen a 60s/70s Shelby Cobra in the flesh before - it's gigantic! They had an immaculate Austin Healey 3000. My car of the show. Fabulous machine. In: Scrap Yard

Thread: Sector layouts21 Nov 2013, 16:36 PM Hey all, First go at a map, and following OnkleSam's rather excellent 'start here for noobs' mapping service, here's a sector map. It was only after doing this that I noticed it looked vaguely insect liked. Anyway! Can anyone see any initial problems with a sector layout such as this, particularly with such severe cutoffs? The placing of the points themselves are key, I think, and have deliberately placed them nearer one team or the other on opposite sides of the map and other sector points closer/further away from the munition points. It's not that hard to divest the two - it's a choice you make to yourself to not consider the first game, should you wish to do so, or think it's worthwhile to consider together for comparison.
