Thread: Ridiculous Lagging 6 Jan 2014, 12:35 PM There was a post from Inverse that pretty much explained this issue - you might be on a fast connection, and the other people may also be - however, that is only the first part of the route for everyone. Somewhere along the line there may be congestion which slows down traffic between you - and that is no fault of the game or your connection, it's just the nature of how internet communication works. The distance your traffic has to travel will also have an effect - if you're in the States, and playing someone in Korea, you're not going to have a very lag-free game whatever happens. If you were to play this game locally at a LAN party, there would be none of those problems. In: Lobby

Damn, my car with a 2.8 litre would be hella expensive to maintain there I guess... It's not that bad - mine's a 3.2; if I'm doing motorway miles (which I do a lot of) I can get nearly 31mpg. Round town/being a hooligan drops it to 11-20. I have seen it down at 4 Petrol is quite expensive though - £1.35 a litre atm, so that works out currently at around $8.34 per US gallon. All you can do is wait for the game system to notice that the other player is doing it (if indeed it was, and not just a time-out), and they will get marked down with the game's 'honesty' tally.
