I can't say the same thing with the AEC. It's an inferior puma in everyway except for the scatter on its cannon. The AEC can't even take on an ostwind while the centuar is a sitting duck for the Puma. Before someone say to flank the ostwind, the ostwind's turret have a rotational speed of 120 degree per second. That turret effectively turn instantaneously. The turret on the aec only turn 35 degree per second, the same speed as the wehr pziv. The Puma is useful because it's an effective tank hunter as well as light vehicle hunter. Being merely a light vehicle hunter is too narrow of a role to be useful. and the AEC shouldn't get a buff against infantry. The british have the bren carrier as an anti-infantry vehicle and the wehr doesn't need another stuart clone to deal with. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Probably the real problem with OKW5 Dec 2015, 13:47 PM the king tiger is just over powered for its cost, it's not just a matter of timing. Remember that with the old fuel penalty it effectively costed 390 fuel. It probably benefited the most from the increased in fuel income due to its high fuel cost. In: COH2 Gameplay

Thread: OPKW nerf.5 Dec 2015, 12:56 PM remove the schreck and give the volks faust. with easy access to some of the best tank, anti-tank weapon, and tank hunter in the game there's no need for the volks to be using schreck. the increase in munition and fuel was suppose to increase unit diversity, but yet the okw are just mostly spamming schreck harder. some of the tank and tank destroyer need a nerf too. They were previously expected to fight outnumber and as a result strong. With the increase in fuel they need a small nerf. In: COH2 Gameplay

It's about 2x-3x better at mid-long range. neither the Puma nor the AEC have a hull mounted mg. note that the wehr puma coaxial is a clone of the okw puma coaxial. In: COH2 Balance

AEC main cannon actually have better anti-infantry capability. this main cannon hit a infantry. edit : i had small test AEC is better anti-infantry capability at close range. Puma is better anti-infantry capability at long range. close range, how close? because at close range you're eating either Faust or Schreck. It's not like the AEC have the capability to erase infantry squad like the t70 or even the stuart. Trying to say AEC count as anti-infantry is comparing tent to a mansion. The AEC's anti-infantry capability is comparable to Puma, as in the both of them are rather poor against infantry. In: COH2 Balance

Its more fun to play against and to play as them. the OKW vehicle previously were expected to fight outnumbered due to the fuel penalty and are stronger than average as a result. For example the okw panther is superior to the wehr panther despite their identical price and the fact the OKW panther arrive much earlier. Now that fuel penalty is gone, some of those vehicle could use a nerf. Luchs is a new threat and we'll need to see how it performs now that it's available at the Mech Truck. Shrecks are their own problem. Even if the AEC were equal or slightly better than the Puma, it's not going to change anything. The Brits just don't need a Puma clone. the british's biggest weakness in the early game is light vehicle due to their lack of snare or tracking inf ATW. The puma is one of the most effective light vehicle hunter in the entire game. A puma clone is exactly what the British need. no one buy puma against the british because the british doesn't have any light vehicle worth countering. The bren carrier can be countered with small arms and the AEC is so crap that no one buy them. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: The PIAT Is Terrible4 Dec 2015, 11:36 AM The PIAT is setup to be an anti-heavy weapon. Its high deflection damage (80!)basically allow it to ignore armor and its scatter isn't as much of a problem against huge target like the Tiger or panther. As an comparison, schreck deal 120 damage on penetration and the bazooka deal 80. normally what I would do is put 2 two piat on two sapper each. It's actually an effectiveness defense against the axis heavy. It's rarely to actually score a kill with the PIAT but it will reliable put a dent in the german dent. The british themselves also have highly effective tanks. I believe the british were meant to use specialized units like the bofor/aec and at sniper against targets their PIAT can't hit. At the same time, PIAT and Firefly will deal with the axis heavy. It's a unique concept and I believe it can still be salavaged. and Honestly I prefer not to see PIAT spam in the game.
