Well and munitions too. You have to buy the grenade package or risk getting shat on by units in buildings or light vehicles. You don't get 7man until t4 or you spend manpower and fuel to get it earlier at t3. You pay nothing for grenadier squads to unlock their abilities. Nor do you pay anything to unlock VSL. It's based on cp. Pay nothing for grenadier, I'm sorry try pulling a rifle nade or getting lmg42 without investing 40 fuel. Go ahead do that. let see how it turns out. Why not try a 1 min rifle nade/mg42 too. In: COH2 Gameplay

So in average JU-87 performed 7% better against rear armor and 18% better against front armor comparatively to IL-2 rocket run. I have no idea on exact delay between the abilities, but IL-2 seem to appear 1 second sooner, while plane's speeds are the same. Prices are 125 munies (IL-2) vs 110 munies (JU-87). How will that make it the best Commander possible. AVD is just stupid and unthematic. And a simple nade volley won't make the commander super OP. Why not redesign them similar to how Panzerfusiliers. Increase the cost, make em initially 5 men with out of cover de-buff. Then give a tier3 6th man upgrade that also removes out of cover de-buff. And then place a tier 4 mg42 upgrade which is around half the power of the Gren ones. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Commander Update Beta 2021 - USF Feedback24 Apr 2021, 10:36 AM Jump back to quoted post23 Apr 2021, 20:58 PMFunPolice Here would be something can could be possibly tried out for mechanized 0 CP - Mechanized Groups Unlocks the WC51 and 76mm Sherman 1 CP - Cavalry Riflemen 2CP - M21 Mortar Halftrack 4CP - Combined Arms Then add some new ability as the 5th option (prboably an off map but it could be a lot of things tbh) Idea is that you remove the M3 Halftrack alongside the currently removed Dozer Blades and then bundle stuff to make it so the commander isn't so bloated with units. You still keep the 2 most useful and appealing units in the commander and open the commander to have something else on top of the other stuff. You still would be getting 4 units which is a lot but open the commander to have something else to help compensate for any nerfs to it's main units. Currently the best aspects of mechanized are going to get nerfed with little to offset those changes. This commander is only really played in 1v1 as it brings very little to the table in team games. So if these changes nerf mechanized it could very easily kill the commander on the whole. At the very least several of the nerfs need to be removed so this guy is at least good in 1v1. 5th ability Pershing, no reason for USF have only 1 commander with a heavy tank. In: COH2 Balance

Once Sander told me the reason that Ass grens had lower dps on their mp40 compared to similarly priced Ass engineers was that they had sprint at the start and had no problem closing in. Now since they don't have that at the start anymore can we see their dps increase a bit. In: COH2 Balance
