Technically every single player can afford a ZiS 60 seconds into the game, that being the time it takes to build T2, and can own one (I think) a minute after that It's not uncommon for players to build a Zis before 8 minutes to deal with a halftrack if I'm not wrong- I do that on occasion as well. You make a good point- to me it feels as if some people would rather the game continue as it is - and quite possibly fail - out of a 'told you so', somewhat spiteful attitude. At the same time though there a lots of people with very good points as to why the game in its current state and direction will probably do worse in the long run than COH1 yet still have optimism that things might change for the better, so make of that what you will. Guard nades have a much shorter animation wind-up time and I heard the bundle nades are more inaccurate as well- can't confirm that though. In: COH2 Balance

I'm pretty sure teching and the buildings themselves were a lot more expensive in vcoh compared to coh2, and tanks were (fuel-wise) a lot cheaper to compensate. In: COH2 Gameplay

Cost effectively new ones will be worse. Isn't mine spacing distance between the mine patches, not the number of mine patches? I thought the 13 -> 7 drop was to make the minefield more concentrated. They never had any stat changes. I daresay 'stronger' would reference the unit's cost-effectiveness, pound for pound, compared to conscripts, not necessarily straight-up combat effectiveness.
