Those heavy tank nerfs will hit Ostheer harder than the other factions.
You can play Soviets without the IS-2, you can play USA without the Pershing (+ that one isn't even affected), but you cripple yourself as Ost if you don't get the Tiger since it replaces Tier 4 entirely.
That wouldn't be so bad if there were Tier 4 buffs impending but a mere 20 armor on the Brummbär and fiddling with the tech cost isn't going to make Ost lategame viable out of the sudden.
The lategame faction will struggle way more in the upcomign patch in the lategame.
All while Brits get (deserved) straight up buffs. Meanwhile Ost can eat shit.
P. S. does this nerf also affect the Tiger Ace or just the regular Tiger?
WOW
Tigers got hit real hard.
IS2 little.
Pershing NOTHING.
WTF
Tiger - All variants
AOE damage from 1/0.25/0.15 to 0.75/0.25/0.15
AOE distance from 0.25/1.5/3 to 0/1/3
Panzer Commander removed from the OKW Tiger
Veterancy 2 scatter bonus removed
IS-2
AOE damage from 1/0.35/0.175 to 0.75/0.35/0.175
AOE distance from 0/1.35/3 to 0/0.85/3 |
Maybe is confirmation bias, but usf mortar when given sight, is more accurate than wehr mortar. Rounds seem to land much closer and killing my wehr units! |
I dont play tourny but i agree with your points.
Ukf pop cap is tough. Last patch nerf the churchill on pop, i rather it nerfed the damage from 160 to 120 as i suggested. At 160, it can function as both AI and AT hitters while soaking damages.
Brumba +20 armor won't help much against vet ATg and 60TD and snares. Make the range back to 40 or was it 45?
Ost is not bad faction but it does fall away late games when vet vs vet. It is not cost efficient faction, worst of the 5.
Pak howie and Scott, yes! Too much damage from too far counter range. I play 2v2, they are a pain, unfair at times or most times! |
perfectly l2p issue
The heavy tanks suffer the same, whether allies or axis.
The allies heavy tanks became so strong that it was impossible to deal with them unless axis were using a Tiger, and the Axis heavy tanks also became so strong that they destroyed the rock-paper-scissors relationship of AT gun - infancy - tank.
You're such an idiot if you're still saying that the heavy tanks are performing fine
Heavy tank patches are the result of whining idiots like you
Wut?
The only change to heavy tank was aoe more reliable instead of more rng wipes..... |
Eh heavy tank is performing fine, now they are delayed to give stock units some more breathing space.
It's all good.
For wehr the reliance of tiger is because their stock units are cost inefficient and poor late game scaling.
Allies can pick and choose between call in or not.
If you think heavy are cancerous, i think 60td with virtual pen at max range is as bad, or worse as they are stock units |
I will just give hmg42 faster setup time at vet2. This will act as wehr combine arms tactics.
Right now hmg42 falls way off against vetted and upgraded allies infantry.
Just like pak40 slight buff, wehr need to returns to its theme of support weapons. |
Bye.
I guess you play allies more?
Stronger infantry.
Remove heavies and 60td become 50td, then we talking |
Imo lmg grens need faster reload and lock on.
Live games, or for long time, you are at mercy of rng of its first burst, you hope to take down 2 models.
Otherwise it takes a long time to fire next burst.
Else grens may lose models and reload again the lmg
Also lmg grens dont scale well late games against 7 man cons behind sand bags! |
Thanks for effort.
Imo this is part of story. Any one can do a TTK a heavy tank? I feel it is easier to kill a heavy now than old days. Especially if you have allies 60td
As such their AI performance is increased to compensate their lower survivability.
Iirc heavy = heavy lumbering armor. Hard to kill. |
I personally don't think the KT needs a buff. It's just Jacksons and SU85 being a bit too good. KT is already very very good vs UKF because even vet 3 FF doesn't have more than 210 penetration and that's just not enough to reliable fight off a well supported KT. Reduce the penetration Jackson and SU85 get with vet and voila the KT would be in a good spot. Also remove ram + IL2 cheese strafe.
Yes! This is the perfect solution!
Besides even in 4v4 KT is still trash unless your axis team is resources ahead and can throw a KT to absorb and hold a point or section
