Thread: Additional 10% armor bonus for panther at vet326 Feb 2020, 06:36 AM Comet only 800hp. Panther is waaaaay better than comet. Panther is almost a doctrine Pershing with a bit lesser AI for longer range. Panther is in strange spot. Super powerful in 1v1 but very expensive to field In 2v2 it seems in perfect. In bigger game modes, it becomes cancerous if allowed to be massed. Panther spam with volks blob is almost instant win In: COH2 Gameplay

The key thing here would be timing. Start with a trash MG but the unit itself could be upgraded into a better MG (DHSK) when Axis (Mostly OKW) have a better chance of dealing with it. Make the upgrade require T1 and T2 (or T3)and the Maxim could be upgraded for say 60 Ammo into the DHSK. By the time both Buildings are up, OKW should have its Medic Truck out to deal with it. This would also give T2 openings something to spend ammo on instead of ZIS Barrage Spamming or spamming mines (since you have nothing else to spam ammo on) Definitely. We need to give the unit some flexibility and it make sense in coh of getting progressively better. If it can't be suppression platform, at least go with utilities In: Lobby

There's no reason why its AOE shouldn't be looked at too. No it shouldn't. 45 range and lower armor forces it to engage much closer to snares and shreks follow up. Pershing is in a great spot now after the resources nerf to the 3 call in tanks in v1.1 In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Its like Usf is just super powered25 Feb 2020, 01:02 AM Another day another axis player whining. 2 suggestions, Git gud Play usf, if you think op. (Hint:its not) On more serious note. Usf is ok in 1v1 with strong mainline infantry. But in 2v2 and above, they fall off as a faction. Weak to snipers and shitty tank phase. Stuart sucks, shermans in a void of uselessness, Jackson lack sight to counter axis armor, and Pershing, weakest heavy, is in only 1 doc. For your case, having 2 pak howies meant either they have an earlier game hole in unit presence or late game weakness to arty. Axis have the best arty, use them. Exploit their smaller unit presence by playing aggressive. Flank their 50cal since it is a late mg and smaller suppression arc than best mg42. Losing to 2v2 usf pak howies sound like a l2p issue In: COH2 Balance
