I've had some great tank battles tigers vs IS-2 recently, it's something that is satisfying to play with and to kill. And God knows it's far more fun to play against/with than an ISU-152. I've seen it bounce shots but, it's a heavy tank after all, it's designed to bounce shots. With RnG, you'll get some ridiculous moments but only 1/1000 games. I've seen a lot of them and never had one that did this or fought one that did this. It's a statistical anomoly. 99% of the time, it's a well-balanced unit. Thread: OKW tactical nuke needs to be fixed31 Jul 2014, 10:22 AM Yeah, it seems over the top to be able to destroy a whole base with one arty strike. Maybe it should have its max damage capped at say 500muni level? After that no improvement? Or what someone said about not being able to use it on a base sector. The "4-click base destroy" really reminded me of Katyusha... So yes, some kind of change is needed cos the US cannot spread their base out to avoid this. In: COH2 Balance

Its quite dangerous, unwise (as your other infantry lacks theirnsupport), but I think its a viable and validnuse in meta, and dont want it lost entirely. Perhaps increase capture time for Support Teams is a compromise? (Though overall, I personally, dont think this addresses the Sov Support durability issue, which is specifically what Devs are asking about). I know what you're saying but please look at this: all MGs have a special ability - supression. As such, they should have weaknesses. They should not be able to walk around the map alone without support, caping territory. If this ability was removed, nobody would be able to spam them. Yes, MG spam is viable. It's absolutely viable. But it's boring. It's so so boring to play against. All the joy of flanking is removed from the game as you walk into Maxim after Maxim after Maxim after Maxim after Maxim. So, take MG's cappign ability in exchange for their suppression ability and power. I thik that's the fairest way. In: COH2 Balance

I WISH the IS-2 bounced like that probably using attack-ground Anyway, IS-2 is fine. It's doctrinal on (realistically) one commander. It's got armor better than a Tiger, but worse than KT / JT, and it takes up 24 pop cap. Yes, let's deny even evidence that we see with out eyes. I feel the same, that if the US is stronger, it's not by a lot. I can even enjoy losing to a US player too, there's no mg spam to stale it up. But still, the mega blobs and E8s do spoil things.
