So the two major nerfs were setup time and suppression. The thing is, now it takes a normal amount of time to set up, but about an hour to suppress squads so its not really worth building anymore in my opinion. I just wantto hear thoughts on it balance-wise, and I want to add that my opinion comes both from using it and having it used on me.
I am prepared for the salt on both sides that will ensue from this thread (I think).
I wouldn't mind it getting supp buff if MG34 gets one too. + blob suppression. Also can't suppress for sh1t. |
Funny to have that coming from you, guess i'll have to start uploading every replay where you complain as well. I can remember various games of you calling me and others 'blobbing retards' and other very friendly stuff, while u were obviously ctrl+1'ing as well. I understand that moving to another country with another language is hard for you but there is no point in using words you don't even seem to understand.
On the other hand, i wouldn't be surprised if you do understand what blobbing means considering being a hypocrit is one of the main attributes needed to enter sturmtiger in the first place. Hell, even your teammate decided to shittalk Sage in another topic.
Anyway, not gonna waste too much breath on arnolaz. Anyone who has played against him can see that his playstyle is banworthy, he doesn't even try to play to win. Usually he shittalks as well but i guess after that disgustingly boosted dive he decided it was better to keep his mouth shut. Best decision he made in his entire life.

Good work mod team! Current patch is huge improvement.
1. I think there's a strong argument to remove all forward retreat points. Soviets and Ost don't have them so suffer greatly in terms of map control.
The only one I can see being balanced is the Brit glider, seeing as it's doctrinal and easily destroyed.
It messes with the suppression mechanic. It means blobbing as Brits, US, OKW is ok because you can just retreat, heal up and get back on the field quickly.
I play almost only OKW and I'd be glad to see FRP be removed for all factions.
2. Also, Brit medpacks mean IS can absorb some damage but stay out on the field anywhere and even heal up other units. Compare that to the other factions who have to: pay munis/build medbunker, risk losing ambulance, risk losing FHQ. |

Why do any of the German tanks have Blitz? It makes no historical sense whatsoever (not that it always should) and feels very annoying. I'd sacrifce USF crews being able to get out of their vehicles and repair if germans got rid of their stupid abilities on their tanks.

maybe if you factor in spammability of allied mediums vs non-spammability of axis mediums and the fact that allied mediums can outperform the axis ones (except t-34, which tbf is cheap)

At least you can build an ATG as OKW. As USF you have nothing to do with kubel spam.
That's why I suggest nerfing the Kubel's damage. Because having to build an AT gun at 2:00 mins in game is a big disadvantage and you're far from guaranteed a kill.
So I'd prefer no factions had an early light vehicle with the kind of damage the M3, US truck and Kubel have. So we can enjoy the early game without nonsense.
OR put them all on a fair level so the Kubel can fight the Bren, M3 US truck and not just melt. If that means losing the capping ability, fine.
Try fighting the allied lights with a Kubel, it's ridiculous.

People want to put out their ideas when threads pop up. If an idea is good, the idea should be first considered and then scrutinised. Even a fucked up clock tells the time right twice a day.
If an idea is bad, there's no need to start asking for playercards; it's pointless. If you think an idea is seriously terrible, you can politely ignore it; everyone will.
Just like any thread, there's going to be some extremely good ideas, and some extremely bad ones.
Kindergarten? How is making the argument that a balanced and high-level player card = more likely to have a better grasp of the game somehow toddler behavior? That makes no sense.
I think the playercard situation is caused by people who don't post their stats but are happy to shout loudly and fill the forum with, what is probably, nonsense and bias. That wastes people's time. So "Playercard or gtfo" seems to be a valid argument.
Also, you may need to nerf penals somehow and/or put faust back for OKW after truck call-in. All I'm seeing in 2v2 is penals and M3 for dayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyys
If you gotta nerf Volks, do it, I don't really care. I just want a nice fun early game with less of this light-vehicle BS from 0CP and T1. It really spoils the flow of the game Nerf the Kubel if you have to too, just get rid of this clown car nonsense for the love of goddddddd

you had 6 MONTH to get your shit up and tell to the balance team what you think about penal.
if you couldn't do it in 6 month, i seriously doubt you can do it now, i mean speaking on balance with real arguments, stats and maybe even a replay.
so here is my point, again, no one gives a shit about your "issue" anymore.
With some luck, they could be allowed to keep working on balance and so can't waste another 6 month testing penals because you were "too slow" (nothing insulting)

The patches have fixed a lot of issues and created / illuminated new ones. So this thread is for people asking the team to address those issues. It's not for people saying "it's too late nothing can be changed ever!"

It wasn't clear to see from just patch notes and beta testing. Now it's pretty clear. I've seen it 5/6 games vs Soviets PENALS - DSHK - SHERMANZ
I've tried light vehicles but they don't really wreck them them enough to slow them down. Plus it takes a ton of micro from controlling other units so your light vehicle doesn't get satchelled.
Not looking at all units at once? Here's a satchel to the face. It's not a huge issue but why do they get such a powerful ability that can wipe an MG / garrisoned unit so easily...
Anyway, big issue is Penal DPS and DSHK. This build has no real downsides and the commander has a call-in tank superior to Axis PIV. |
