Ok,I found two more pearls in the British faction,mainly playing as OKW,as we have lack of fuel,the only advantage in the initial game is the infantry,but the British one is equivalent or even more powerful,even without cover the four guys kill easily one or two grenadiers,so they come with the Carrier after put a early MG in a strategic fuel point.
Then the pearls come with all splendor,the emplacements,those indestructible ones,that even bombarded with lig18,because nothing more reach the AA without been wiped, gun during 5 minutes and using that green shield remains intact,and this AA flak wiping a grenadier unit,even in a building in less than 1 second is the cheer in the top of cake,nothing can approach,even a PIV,the Luch disappear with 2 rounds,it's ridiculous.
And the AA tank ,who resists 3 panzershereks shots and more 1 or 2 from a Raket.
I have this game since the beginning and never care about balance or else,but this is atrocious,no other unit of any previous faction did anything similar to it in the game,I never rage quit before,and usualy type GG when I lose,but this faction made me mad.
I feel very unfair lose a unit,in less than one second,before realize what happened.
And sorry my English.
I too don't like the brits, but they are not going away so what i would advise you, is to do what i did, play as brits and see how you can be defeated, or play 2v2s, and learn from your allies. |

we all saw the stats of top 200 players that show allies players get more wins, and i personaly agree that axis are harder to play.
so why i get 8-20% playing allies all the time? |

i agree with the timer idea, i see no sense of rifle-nades been the only grenade type weapon that almost cannot be dodged.
Did RG were upped this patch? i don't get the maxim complain, i never had a full health maxim team wiped out by a RG and with the merge ability i easily beef up team weapons. |
What you claim is not true, on so many levels.
For once there are entire strategies in COH1 or 2 that do not involve tanks, and they are there for a reason.
Second regarding your statement about who win modern wars in reality neither tanks nor resources solely win wars, see battle of kursk for reference.
More over there were no major inter-super-power war since WWII so frankly no one knows what win modern wars.

I am shocked to learn that KT is not considered heavy tank.
2 KTs is OKW shooting himself in the leg in my opinion, i wish every OKw i play against will go for 2 KTS, good luck with that.
But Jadgtiger + KT + Stuka? without mark-targed / p47 "kill all armor pressing 1 button" on open maps is game over for the allies.
KT is totally gotta be a heavy tank. OKW can add panthers for more AT or nuclear mortar launchers for more AI, but if i can't get 2 is2 please no KT+Jagtiger |
Yes, problem confirmed, I had the same issue. And another problem that apeared (this time in every replay I wach) is that the whole conversation with your opponent is posted for 2-3 seconds at te start of the replay. This is bull.

the problem with maxim is not maxim per say but the lack of good suppressing unit for the soviets.
Basically soviets need to spam large forces of infantry and rely heavily on elite infantry to gain the advantage in infantry warfare, without fast t70 / ppsh / elite-inf soviets will be pushed back against an infantry centered build.
I personally build the maxim only after getting 4 cons + 1 engi and use it offensively to suppress a selected anti-inf squad like storm-pios, pgs or lmg gren while i charge in with the rest of the force.
If my cons lose the assault i recognize the inability of maxim to hold the line against more then 2 units so i Hard / Soft retreat him even if he is 100% health. |
