- lower the cost of infantry sections from 280 to 260 MP
- increase infantry sections received accuracy at vet2 from 23% to 33%.
- lower the cost of the Vickers HMG from 280 to 260 MP
- increase the mp cost of royal engineers from 210 to 240 MP
- change the vet3 on royal engineers from reinforcement cost to reinforcement speed and the -33% received accuracy to -23% received accuracy.
- also change it so royal engineers no longer benefit from the +1 man upgrade.

just wanting to have exact information on this.

ive read somewhere ( cruzz? someone with knowledge it was) that the sherman AP shell is as effective as the normal shells of other tanks (p4) and He only boosts your AI power, so there is no drawback staying on AP shell.

can someone confirm/deny?

AP rounds is just a general shell. It works against everything. HE just increases AoE but significantly reduces penetration. It's better to stay in AP in general.

Yeah... but you guys aren't considering the fact that the MG or AT you paradrop doesn't require any build time nor tech costs, can be fielded anywhere as long as you have vision and can be given to teammates.

Because if you include tech costs, you technically pay 480 MP and 50 gas just to get your initial MG. You pay 470 MP and 60 gas for the intial AT gun.

So cost wise, it is cheaper. The trade off is that they are unmanned so you have to recrew them but that's the entire point.

Here's why it's a big deal:

People see layoffs in game communities as serious. Why? Because it's not your typical workplace where they lay off workers because of budget cuts or any other reasons. Certain game developers leaving the company can effectively change the development process significantly. In the gaming community, your ideas matter more than your skills. This is different from being hired by a tech company where your skills matter more than your ideas. That's why a lot of game companies can release buggy or almost incomplete games. It's not how well the game runs, it's how innovated it is and why so many games can get away with being released broken.

Game developers being laid off have far more implications than any other companies because the very same game you are playing are made by those very same developers. CoH is CoH because Relic made it, it's their design, their project and their ideas. CoH wouldn't be CoH if you replaced the team with Blizzard.

It just takes 1 guy to be laid off to change the development of a game because the game was programmed and based on the ideas of an entire team working together. The change would be even more drastic if the developer in question has been with the company for quite a while. The more involved the developer, the more noticeable effects.

If you replace or remove a team member, you effectively change the game for better or worse. That's why it's a concern for the community. You know the music you like or the art you're fascinated by? A lot of people buy the games because of these sole reasons. A lot of gamers remember certain music or like certain art because it made an impact. Compare the differences between Men of War with CoH and you have two drastically different games even though they have the same themes they have different ways to deliver it.

One of the lead designers of CoH ended up in a fatal car crash. The same developer who helped create the British and Panzer Elite factions. Imagine how different of a game CoH2 would have been if he were still around?

This applies to all gaming companies. It's sensitive and one move by any team member can effectively screw the company over or give them incredible success. This isn't something you see with any other companies.

Game development is extremely sensitive and shouldn't be compared with standard companies.
