Not sure why people keep saying that games being rushed = bad. Games historically have always been rushed. Very few games benefit from being delayed and that is typically just last minute changes or bug fixes.
COH3 was doomed from the start. It has no theming, no direction and tried to cater to the e-sports scene hence why the game is so stupidly colorful to make it easier to see on the commentators screen while spending 90% of the budget on the stupid cinematics and marketing. The whole game itself goes against typical game development design.
Most of the employees who previously worked on the prior CoH titles aren't even employed at Relic anymore. It's just full of delusional corporate elites that plaster their in-game news with paid IGN/GameSpot 9/10 ratings to ego stroke their insecure and worthless company. CoH3 feels like it was developed by fresh out of college interns with 0 dev experience.
Relic learned nothing from DoW3 nor their previous titles. But that's what happens when you employ a bunch of people who are just doing game programming for a paycheck with 0 passion or care about the actual game.
I come back to play this game every once in a while and I can never understand how some people have like 10,000 hours logged into this game, but they still do things like build 3 mortars into AT gun strat then rage quit wondering how they all died to 1 infantry squad.
I always felt it sort of lingered on the back of everyone's mind to not send in suicide vehicles in risk of them being captured. Otherwise, not feeling that strong with it one way or another. Abandons were incredibly rare anyways to the point where it really has no impact on the actual gameplay.
We don't even have multiplayer yet and you want to discuss balance. Just wait to see how people actually use it. Honestly, I think 35 munitions is a bit too cheap for an entire squad wipe, maybe bump it up to 50 or 70 munis.
But that would be unfair. And if everybody would turn this auto vault on (to be able to compete because auto would mean less micro), there would be no reason to have this option.
It would be on by default. Anyone who doesn't want to auto-vault could just turn it off. It's like saying an automatic car gives you an advantage over a manual stick shift. There's really no difference at that level of micro. You push 1 extra button and if you average like 300 APM, 1 action isn't going to change much.
As usual, Relic fails to communicate. Bad timing and IMO not much about this charity content update make much sense. Not even from a PR perspective.
Relic and Japanese love whales? Really? That's big news.
FACTs; 1) Relic/SEGA is owned by a Japanese company called Sega Sammy Holdings. The majority shareholder (Hajime Satomi) is among one of the richest Japanese leaders. The CEO of SEGA (Haruki Satomi) is the grandchild of Hajime Satomi. So SEGA is most definitely run by Japanese "overlords".
So why is this Japanese leadership important when it comes to whale/dolphin charity?
Just by using google search and there is like a mountain of evidence showing Japanese killing thousands of whales/dolphins in the name of "science" (poor excuse).
Japanese leaders, in general, have very little respect for whale/dolphins, let alone charity to protect them. This is like trying to tell an oil salesman to please stop selling oil because it's bad for the environment.
