Given that COH2 is still here and the servers aren't shut down, the game still (even if by community) gets updates / maps / balance tweeks... I assume COH3 will happen just not so sure on a time frame maybe years but I do see a reason to move on from WW2, I mean yeah the pacific but thats just less factions... what Japan and USA? throw in some Chinese? That's less then what they have now in COH2 (5 Factions)... And yes the current fanbase is WW2 passionate... But whats to stop a company from wanting to expand that fan base? (yea yea "they will lose fans if the leave the WW2 Theme" sure you will ...COH3 comes out you will buy it with that hate then say you love it later) Well I assume the general concept is gonna be some "WW3" Type concept With the same amount of factions, Throw in EU, USA, Russia, China, and ? for 5th, some sort of current Superpower... and do a "fantasy WW3 Concept" ... to enforce this idea with the WW2 and WW1 game hay-day was when Battlefields and Call of Dutys (and others) went thru there games set in those time frames and Now you see them all moving toward "Modern Warfare" Jump back to quoted post28 Sep 2020, 16:08 PMSpoof If they made a semi-realistic version of the Advanced Powers mod that would be really cool. We could set it in 1945 or 1946, and for plot reasons let's just say Nazi Germany hasn't fallen yet. So you could have tech that bridges WW2 and the Cold War like Panther IIs, Super Pershings, IS-3s, Centurions, and the likes for tanks. For infantry weapons you'd have all the automatic rifles that the Germans already have, along with some experimental Allied weapons. Could also further develop on the infrared technology that both sides had. But I'd really like to see an expansion in the air arm of combined arms. Late WW2/early Cold War had some pretty cool jets, like the Gloster Meteor, Me 262, and He 162. At this stage helicopters were also being developed; the Western Allies had the Sikorsky R4 as a scout helicopter, while the Luftwaffe had the more capable Fa 223. We could theoretically introduce the concept of air cavalry 20 years earlier. very imaginative ... Mod Sure ... COH3 unlikely In: Lobby
Thread: Worldbuilder Tip of the Week #14 & #151 Oct 2020, 17:26 PM ^^^^ same... i figured out the abandoned vehicles ... yet the lights are a problem for some reason... I found that using a map with the lights already on will work, tho! but you cannot create or place new lights, only use the existing ones that are on the map.. still trying to figure it out tho... followed the instructions to the T and no results so far In: Guides

It happened whenever he pushed in the late game. Usually have perfect performance. He could catch me off guard cos his panther would teleport into my LOS while i was trying to move AT guns around. Then the last time he pushed. I got a bugsplat The only hacks I heard of was something w/ the fog of war not being there, I never heard of units that teleport anywhere on the map. and bugsplat doesn't happen often w/ me... I believe its because I have a decent rig/computer that can easily handle the 2013 specs ... I do believe if your trying to run the game on a lap top other then alienware or some gateway 2000 pc you would get bugsplats due to as stated above that the game doesn't have super great coding and does not utilize the core's on one's pc properly. But if you do encounter anyone hacking i recommend contacting sturmpanther about it... as he handles such things for coh2! ...If that's what you are claiming... that the player was cheating in some way In: Replays

Thread: CoH3 will be MODERN WARFARE ??????7 May 2019, 22:54 PM a modern warefare system would work nicely for COH3 ... the question is would it be an actual war (Iraq, Ukraine, Syria) because the factions would be limited... If it would be modern "fantasy" warfare then giving the player the option of lets say multiple country's...USA, Britain, China, Russia, India etc... or something along those lines .... that would be interesting In: Lobby
