They should be vulnerable to small arms fire when under construction, just like in CoH 1. two or three shots should destroy these things.

There was this time when I used the RAM ability on a panther, which was standing right next to a pak gun, the ramming t34 crushed and destroyed the pak and immobilized the panther, it was epic.
I also got to repair the t34 back to full strenght. Yeah, ram was OP back then. |

That doesnt mean that THQ was having a huge profit, because it wasnt, otherwise they wouldn't have closed CoH O and started developing CoH 2.
And I dont know any oficial numbers for CoH O players, maybe their servers supported just the amount of people that is playing coh 2 right now, maybe it was even lower, that is not a lot of people. |

Since you guys are comparing CoH to big titles, why cant CoH be more like Starcraft instead of LoL/Dota?

Using Zis offensively is tricky in the best of situations, its slow, dies easily to infantry, and to speak quite frankly they often don't penetrate the front armour of heavy tanks. As for the other point, your right, infantry will not take any losses.
I agree, once I witnessed a ZiS fire 23 shots to an elephant's frontal armor at long range, it took 0 damage.
ZiS can only be used when something is flanking the ele/JT, making them spin and show their rear armor. |

Well, I do think that for the heavies (IS2, ISU, Tiger, KT), the most simple and pressuring solution would be limiting 1 per game. That way, u add tension - the player with the heavy will be very cautious, while the other one will be pressured into a bold attitude while trying to destroy it.
That makes sense, just like on coh 1. |
If so that nerf should only be applied to light veihcles like the scout car and halftracks.
For tanks it was OK. |
I like the KV1, it can take a lot of punishment, especially because of its high frontal armor, but when dealing with heavy tanks, it works better supported by SU85s or ATGs. |
