Thread: Let commando gliders be repaired25 Jan 2020, 14:18 PM Allow them to be repaired extremely slowly, so that if you wanna do it you have to dedicate an engineer unit to it for a while. That way it's a tradeoff. If your opponent attacks your glider, you won't save it with repairs, but if he ignores it you spend a few minutes repairing and it's ready to go. In: COH2 Balance

Other things that need to be looked at: - Scott is way too durable needs to lose smoke or HP - Jackson still too good, brainless unit with no weakness - Pak Howitzer still too good compared to Leig, Mortars - AOE of heavy tanks and ISU needs to be reduced slightly, they wipe infantry too much - SVT Cons limited to 3 SVTs instead of 4 - Rear Echelon rifle grenade needs to stop being a passive ability - Cromwell needs some sort of defining strength instead of just being meh at everything - Firefly still too bad IMO, even though a Jackson nerf would make it more balanced in a way - Brummbär needs to get some of it's recent nerfs reverted, either armour or range - Panther needs a bit more accuracy - Agree on Scott, give it 5 or 10 range and dies in 2 shots - Armour nerf for M36 - Remove autofire from pak howie, buff barrage - That or increase cost to around 300 fuel. - SVT cons are fine - RE rifle grenades were badly designed from the start. Should have been a copy of Grens’ rifle nade. - Cromwell needs to be 140 fuel and actually strong - FF is fine - Brummbar needs a buff for sure - Panther needs a slight buff. More accuracy is good, but personally I’d reduce vet requirements. Also can we stop derailing this with pointless DPS comparisons that nobody cares about? In: COH2 Gameplay

Thread: Perfect guide on how to wreck base pin Ost strat24 Jan 2020, 21:12 PM Approx 2min replay on Crossing. So you all know the drill. You start playing vs an Ostheer player, he starts the game with a Gren, MG then Assgren and is at your cutoff trying to basepin you. Extremely annoying strategy, especially on maps like Crossing in the woods. I've struggled a lot with this in the past and I've learned to scout ahead in the early game and a few important tips I wanted to share with people who might struggle vs this strat. 1) Always send a unit middle to scout for a rush. Identifying 2-3 rushing squads in the middle as the game starts can save you as you redirect everything to meet them. 2) Always flank. Base pinners will boom rush the cutoff and do 0 flank scouting and usually just stare at your base so you can probably get a wipe from them not looking. 3) Wire any green cover near your base.
