Relic should have expanded on vehicle sight, vision for vehicle should be much more limited like only 90 degrees in front of them (not 360 as is now). That would force the use of combined arms with infantry as support. |

Too bad that Sdkfz 221/222 also have a x0.5 penalty when fotm. This also explains why my Sdkfz 221/222 often only kills one member of the sniper team on retreat even when I catch them them off-guard, guess that happens when its dps gets reduced by 50%.
Snipers accuracy in M3 also gets decreased by x0.5, iirc. |
I guess most Wehrmacht players want the Panther to be simply a better PIV, same as the T34/85 is simply a better T34/76 (both have AoE of 2,5 and same dps on MG's) with the only diffrence that the T34/85 has more armor and HP, better scatter and dmg per shoot then T34/76.
Imo they should atleast increase its maingun AoE and scatter to the level of the SU85. |

We should forget that Conscirpts have 50% more HP then Grendiers which is clearly a late game advantage because it makes them less vurnable to AoE attaks. Were German inf. has the tendency to disapper. That being said I wouldnt mind a non doctirnal SVT-40 upgrade for 45 munitions which gives the squad 3 SVT-40. Maybe with the reqierment of having build the T3 or T4 building.
As for the LMG the only change I think that is needed would be a T2 requierment before being able to buy the LMG42.
Btw shock have no problems vs LMG Grens atleast last game 1 of mine shock troop sqauds beat 2 LMG Grens (close range non was above vet 1). |
You'd be wrong to say that- the 160 damage takes a 0.4 or 0.5 modifier (I can't remember which) when calculating splash damage at maximum radius. This means the P4 should gib bunched-up squads more, which is consistent with my experience when facing/using it. The T-34 will kill the squad member(s) it hits directly, but splash damage is significantly less.
Ok, its x0.25 at maximum radius, I tougth they removed it because soviet mines for example do x1 in the whole AoE. |
Relic should have added more upgrades for the soviets they are just seem boring to play in the long run.
No tank upgun or Bar upgrade equivalent for soviets. I wish there would a fuel upgrade for conscipts that gives them Svt40 or T34/85 unlock/upgun. |
T34 is better vs infantry:
160 dmg of the Panzer 4 doesnt helps vs infantry, because every infantry member has 80 hp (doesnt gets increased with vet). So dmg output thats above 80 is overkill vs infantry.
The T34 is better vs infantry because it has a higher rate of fire (shorter reload time) and a lower scatter then the Panzer 4 and does 80 dmg per hit which one shoots infantry any way. German sqauds also have less members so the T34 has a easier time to wipe sqauds. |
Relic should remove vetting up by taking dmg completely.
Main problem imo is the fact: HP > Inf. Armor
HP protects from AoE attaks and flamers while Inf. armor does not, so soviet inf. benefits from 50% more Hp on their squads + better fromation, which means its much harder to lose soviet sqauds to tank main guns, artylery and mines, any AoE.
Which gives a soviet infantry a clear advantage.
It would be best if Relic would rework veterancy maybe +20hp for vet2 German infantry instead of armor buff? Longer healing time at base would balance it more + it would promote the use of the med kit. It would also make the soviet and wehrmacht vetrancy more diffrent. |
