here is my approach on vehicles from another thread:
-remove abandoning
-crits dont happen instead of death anymore, but if a tank is left with 5% or 10% of its health after a shot, it receives an !additional! crit based on the direction where the shot came from:
front: main gun destroyed?
side: light engine crit?
rear: heavy engine damage?
this would enable plays and counterplays and it would add another strategical layer
and plane crashes shouldnt kill aynthing at all, it wouldnt be too hard for the game to always crash the plane away from your troops. it would still look fantastic, but would not be so RNGheavy! |
i dont like abandoning at all
flanking the enemy and then (almost) losing all your tanks because the enemy tank was not destroyed but abandoned is the worst RNG you can have. now you want to make that happen every time? flanking would be much less rewarding against a capable enemy, because you would need more time to finish him off.
And last but not least, a well microed and protected Jagdtiger or any other longrange tank would be even harder to kill, because after you killed it you would need to destroy the wreck again.

We are more intently focused on making changes and adjustments that will have a positive impact on our entire game-playing population, not just a dedicated but small minority of our player base. This can sometimes mean that while it may seem obvious to some that a certain change is necessary, it may not be our top priority nor even a good idea in terms of changes to make.
that is very strange. talking about balance and then saying, that perfect balance is not in their interest (balance at high level play for "dedicated" players).....

i made a little plot with the data from the first 10 posts
note that number of drops = number of drops after x hours of play
and that that they only show the occurance of a drop, not the actual number of drops |
But before I upgraded my pc I constantly restarted my game after each match

i tried other stuff like starting a game on another map or so, but it doesnt work. interesting thing is, if you look at your task manager it wont show you the real amount of ram it uses |
How many more Commanders should OKW need, or have?
they dont really need more commanders, but they will get the "very-op-must-buy-p2w-commander", im pretty sure.
about the "on me" bug: just go to romeos issue tracker and you will find a lot of bugs that are easy to fix aswell but arent fixed (some are there since the beta).
I knew about the captain bug in June and also reported it. Nothing was done until people were exploiting the hell out of it.

Not at all. WHat I'm saying is, before I wouldn't have paid to get commanders. Now I have premium content, in fact most all from playing the game regularly. It doesn't come regularly or consistently. But over time just looking at all the free commanders I've won, I've gained quite a bit with no drawbacks whatsoever.
I'll just rephrase, it may not be a pretty system, but its a system that can only give you benefits. Only good has came out of war spoils. That is unless you care about bulletins (which quite frankly are worthless, I already have all the bulletins I need), even still free commanders > bulletins.
All if this though ONLY applies to players who played the game and unlocked everything before war spoils, because you got to keep everything. So in my case I not only have all the base commanders and worthwhile bonuses. But now I'm getting free skins and commanders that will continue to come out or the ones I didn't buy before.
well, a prestige 2 rank 94 guy probably put a lot of hours into this game, so he got a lot of drops. but every other person, who doesnt have that much time, has three choices: 1. either sink money into the ridiculous "pay2win" DLC-system to get at least some good commanders 2. have a disadvantage or 3. farm with this script.
